Refused a return, because the package had been opened. The product could not have been used if the package was not opened. It was a plastic package that needs to be cut open, you know the kind. Product works, is mint condition purchased the night before from the same location.
Employees had good customer service, but the owner making the call not to accept the return without speaking with me, or looking at the return at all is terrible customer service.
Additionally had everything that came in the package with the product, the only issue is that the plastic was open, which is impossible to avoid. $50+ gone without any consolation.
In response to the owner, you could have easily had taken it, used a plastic wrap, and discounted it as "open box new". I have seen things that are clearly used at Ace hardware stores in the past, this was in perfect condition. Loads of places will have items that are like new for sale, I had this thing less than 24 hours. If I had seen your return policy on a receipt (it's not there) I wouldn't be as upset. This blindsided me, and no attempts were made to try and fix the issue. Not even a store credit was offered. This is why I'm frustrated. The product could have absolutely been resold, just in a different package. A spare piece of cardboard and some plastic wrap could have done the trick. Keep at the front counter or in a case, boom sold because it's discounted and where customers can see.

We moved back to Tally last summer and have shopped at Ace Bannerman many times since. The staff have always been friendly and incredibly helpful. Unlike some of the competition, this store is clean, well organized and in perfect order.
Today, we purchased a Weber grill. Chris was especially helpful and patient while we reviewed our options. Appreciated Dana, the Owner, delivering our grill and giving us a quick tutorial for this newer model.

I went there because I saw their sign for a BBQ with free install and setup. I just moved to town, and needed to get a new Weber. They were super helpful, had great product knowledge, and the best price in town. I am pretty happy!
