I've used her several times and never had an issue. I recently took several dresses to her to hem. I knew one would be challenging because of the bottom front being scalloped and having an eyelet pattern so I told her if she couldn't do that one, not to worry and I would just return it to the store and get my money back. Well, this was the finished product. She literally took scissors and cut the bottom of the dress off! Not only that, but you can see where she hacked it up and didn't even cut it smoothly. Before I could wear it, I had to get my scissors out and try to smooth out the rough hack marks she left with her scissors. Not only does it look horrible, but I'm not sure how it will hold up after I wash it. I'm afraid it will become unraveled after the first wash. I'm now out the money I paid her and I'm stuck with a dress that is ruined when i would have gladly just returned it if she'd told me she wasn't comfortable working on it. So unhappy with this...and shocked that she would return it to me in this condition. I would be horrified to have my name associated with this work product.Service: Hem repairs

There was a time when this store sold everything needed for any occasion. For that reason, I would call ahead to determine if, items are available prior to visiting the store.

Extremely Rude! I wish I could give ZERO stars. I asked to have 2 pair of pants tapered. I took a pair in for reference. She measured a 1/2 inch difference. The woman refused to taper my two pair of pants, laughed at me, said “kids these days don’t know anything,” and told me to leave. She barely let me speak and spoke to me like i was a child. I told her the pants are clearly different in measurement and I would like to have them tapered and she still refused. I’ve never had an experience like this when asking someone for a service they offer. I was not rude or demanding. I just asked for a service she “offers.”

I highly recommend using this shop for all clothing alterations. The tailoring is exquisite and very detailed. I have taken several intricate items for my daughter and the precision has always been perfection! I have taken my families clothing here for years.Services: Women's clothing alterations

She was incredibly rude and I would never recommend her. She wouldn’t let me get through two sentences of describing what I wanted done to my clothes before she got visibly angry. By the time I decided I no longer wanted her services, she had yelled at me and flung a dress. Her behavior had me recalling the whole experience to see her what I said or how I could have said it to agitate her so much. I later recalled her looking at my first dress and asking if it was African in a what I now think was a weird sense. Naïve me, I beamed about the dress. Anyway, she should just say she doesn’t want to work on certain types of clothes if that’s the case. No need to yell at customers who are being nothing but calm and clear.

Very pleasant and friendly owner. Services are really quick and professionally done!! My dress needed to be extended by 2 inches on each side and altered, because I'm only 5 feet. All of this was completed in a timely manner. She even used the extra fabric from my dress to make me a matching facemask. This experience well earned my coins.

I would give ZERO stars if possiable. My husband took a brand new suit jacket to just have the sleeves hemmed. We picked the suit jacket up and the lady had sewed the sleeve to the jacket itself to where he can not move or lift his arms. What should have been a simple fix turned into a completely ruined jacket. When asked if it could be fixed we were told “not my problem” and she refused to fix what she messed up. When asked for a refund we were told “no refund but I’ll give you 10% off next time.” So not only are we out the almost $100 for the “alterations” but the money for the brand new jacket at that.
