Tried on doing my baby’s passport here because the location that we had the appt with cancel and didn’t notify; the said a “the surfside office was honoring the appointments”. When we arrived they were doing another gentleman passport, he was also at the first location, but to us, a Travis employee said “they didn’t do passport on weekends”. We argued they were clearly doing the passport for the gentleman right next to us and that the other location was sending us. But Travis just just kept lying to our face, saying “he’s was here for something else”. So if you ever have to deal with Travis, watch out cause he’s the definition of laziness, and will not accommodate you for a second, not even for a baby

Unfortunately for a substitute delivery lady I lost many packages in a week but as soon I went to their office in Surfside a very gentle and professional lady Jennifer she promptly helped and locate my packages and they were all recovered by the usual mail man and delivered to m ea great guy to hard working dedicated.Good job thank you

Went to renew my passport I was greeted by a cashier told her I was here for a passport appt. She responed it'll be a moment. The young lady will be right up , a few moments later Jen arrived took my documents and proceeded to process. I was in-and-out in a matter of minutes it was a very nice experience.Thanks ladies

I do not appreciate how some employees treat you just because you look young. We are all human beings and if you do not want to be disrespected, you should start to respect people so that the will also respect you. No need to be rude or anything. Please train your employees some work ethic!

Even though I no longer live in the area, I do all of my shipping here. Why? DEBORAH! Since I moved to the area, Deborah has been in this post office. She is so friendly and helpful. My old neighbors all loved her, too. I also want to mention that the entire staff is great, but Deborah is a stand out. You never know what anyone is going through or where they’re at in life. It doesn’t hurt to smile or say something kind. Deborah does this and it makes a difference. It really is the little things, so Deborah, thank you for being YOU! The community appreciates all you do. By the way, I read some of the negative comments and these people all sound like pains in the @$$, should probably find something to do.

Surfside Post office is the best post office in the US!! No wait in line, quick service, and the clerks there are very pleasant. Especially the young lady who shares my name. I’m not even from Surfside/ Bal Harbour but I will most definitely come back to this office for any of my postal needs!

I had very satisfying experiance with this branch. I had an appointment for my childs passport. There was no line as well as staff was very helpful and quick.

This Surfside Location is has the most unprofessional and distasteful manager I have ever dealt with, my first experience was a total nightmare..I hadn't been to the post office in over 15 years - I mention to the young lady at the desk that I needed her help to send my mother's cellular device-( Iphone ) overseas to the Caribbeans - She suggested it was okay to send it through customs in a padded envelope; which she packed and sealed for me, the phone never made it to my mom in the Caribbeans ( which she went to visit her family after 30 years. ***no pics for her ***, ) The phone showed up in 6 days later at my house ( IN THE STATES ) which I paid $70.00 TO SHIPP overseas. I went back to the postal service where the young lady apologized and made it known to the supervisor and manager that she forgot they no longer ship lithium batteries through customs. We are all humans and make mistakes, staff then gets on the phone with the manager that says TOO BAD THAT WE TOLD YOU THE WRONG THING, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE KEY PAD BEFORE SIGNING basically and no refund.... I literally had to brake out in tears until Samsom a new supervisor went the extra mile for me to get that refund ( THANK YOU SAMSON ) You are the true definition of five star customer service; also the honest young lady.. This Manager JOSE MARTINEZ needs to be removed from this position immediately .. This is a very bad look for the City of Surfside and Bay/Bal Harbor residents. I will be writing to the corporate office as well. A gentleman named JP as well needs to be removed, he lied and said I came in on the weekday when I came in on a Saturday to do the transaction ( challenging my work schedule as if he knew me because I said I was not available on the weekdays and needed to resolve the issue at the moment. . He was right there when the young lady told me the wrong information and he did not tell her we do not send phones through customs, he needs to be held responsible as well. He tried to back the manager and say you should have read the pad when he forgot that he told me the day I sent the Iphone that his ex wife is from Trinidad and he knows all the island dishes, he quickly switched up when I returned for my refund as if he was not right there watching this young lady package the phone, he knew it was going to Trinidad and Tobago as well.

Deborah was terribly rude. She should consider getting a new job where she doesn’t have to work with people. No one is making you do this job. Horrible and mean service.

I would rate negative if I could. I went to that pot office on a Tuesday 10 minutes before closing time and the door was locked! They just did not open and it was not even closing time, it was 5;48! I thought US Post Office was a serous entity and respected timetables, but I see everybody has their laws!

Everyone there is SUPER SLOW even if they see a long line in front of them. Sometimes, it even looks like they enjoy the power to make everyone wait until THEY get to us, WHEN they get to us. I’ve never enjoyed coming here — and it’s been years that I’ve been experiencing the same slowness and inconsiderate behavior from the postal workers at this location.

I had an appointment this morning at this branch to process documents for a passport. I had the best customer service from Jennifer, she was very helpful, professional and courteous. Will definitely recommend this postal office.
