Walgreens at the University and Oakland Park location is generally a positive experience for customers. Many appreciate the friendly and attentive service from staff members like Shaakema, who is known for being polite, knowledgeable, and recognizing regular customers. Customers enjoy picking up prescriptions via the drive-thru, often working with her, and find her to be a real gem. The store also offers good shopping experiences, with sales on liquor and clearance items that customers find worth checking out. However, not all experiences are perfect. At the Sunrise, Florida location, there was a negative incident involving a new cashier named Latisha. She appeared unfamiliar with certain procedures, which caused the register to freeze and led to frustration. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, her attitude was unprofessional; she raised her voice, put her foot on a stool, and was defensive and impolite when suggested to seek help from a more experienced coworker. Customers observed her complaining about her job and displaying an inappropriate posture while facing customers. A more experienced cashier eventually stepped in, processed the transaction smoothly, and helped maintain a good service standard. Overall, Walgreens is appreciated for its helpful staff and good service, especially from long-time employees. Nonetheless, the Sunrise store could improve by providing better training for new employees like Latisha, emphasizing proper customer service and professional behavior. With such improvements, the store can ensure a consistently positive experience for all customers.
The staff always polite, friendly, respectful and professional

Sorry I hate giving bad reviews, however I would absolutely would be embarrassed to be the management in this location. The store looks so nice and clean. The restroom was worst than any gas station restroom. In a drug store of all places. Might need to get ME office to see what died in there. Horrible.
