Clerks are too busy on their phone to even acknowledge customers. I know phones are full of entertainment. But I'd like to pay for my gas and leave. Not repeat myself whilst you watch your show. It's really not that difficult of a task.

Pumps never work, employees are always on their phones not paying attention. Half of the gas pumps always covered by bags.

I went to the this gas station a younger, short cashier was rude and had an attitude. He didnt want to take my cash. I ended up paying with my card. On my end it did feel racism, and this not my first negative encounter with him. There is a gas station right across the street. I will be spending my hard earned money there from now on. No need to treat people that way in a world that already is hard enough at times.
Signed a very dissatisfied customer!

Subject: Thank You for Your Response
Dear Shell Team,
I appreciate your prompt response to my concerns. I have shared my complaints with the corporate office and management. It's interesting to note that when customers visit your store, you never know who has connections; for instance, a customer might know the CEO of Shell.
Regardless, it's essential that all customers are treated with respect, as respect should be universal. Thank you for acknowledging the situation and for your willingness to address my issues. I truly appreciate your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Subject: Concern Regarding Customer Service Experience
Dear Customer Service Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my concerns about a recent experience I had at your gas station on December 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., located in zip code 33351, specifically on Oakland Park and Hiatus in Sunrise, Florida.
During my visit, I encountered a cashier who was quite rude. I requested a $4 Powerball ticket and paid for some cookies. While I was searching through my change to provide the additional amount for the missing money from the original Powerball ticket purchase, the cashier became very disrespectful and condescending. As an immigrant who speaks more than four languages, I understand the importance of clear communication. If he didn’t understand my request, he should have politely asked me to repeat myself instead of responding in a rude and condescending manner.
It is disappointing to see such behavior, especially when many of us are immigrants and English may not be our first language. Clear communication is essential for providing excellent service. This issue seems to be recurring, as reflected in numerous complaints in your reviews over the years.
I believe it is crucial for staff serving the community to treat customers with respect. Without customers, businesses cannot thrive. I hope you will address this issue to enhance the overall customer experience at your establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the future.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Customer

2 cars got watered down gas, broke down, had to be towed, and Shell admitted it was bad gas. Stay away. And they also overcharge.

Everything is over priced here. I paid a South Beach Night Club price for a Red Bull. Plus it smells like extreme body odor inside the little store area.

I used to come here regularly bc it’s nearby, but lately there is a younger cashier who has a terrible attitude and can’t put down the phone for even a moment. He’s got a real argumentative way as well. NOW I will never use this station again after probably 20+ years of patronage bc they are scamming at the pump. On Monday I ended up having the nitro gas pumped even though I could’ve sworn I pushed regular. I brushed it off bc I thought maybe I accidentally bumped the wrong one. HOWEVER, today I was extremely careful bc I didnt want that to happen again. I definitely pushed regular and the nitro came out. Nope. Scammers and I’m done with you.

I used to come here all the time but after being snubbed for a whole dollar just trying to get change for the air machine, never again. It would also be nice if the clerk could put his phone down for a sec and look at the customer.

Horrible service.... I used my card at the pump and no gas came out.... But my card was accepted. I went to another pump and I got the same situation there. So I went inside and the guy said to me the pumps are not working. I asked him to put a sign because I had time to get at work. In summary they don't care about it. HORRIBLE SERVICE
