Worst customer service ever. there were four employees standing around doing nothing other than talking. All i needed was a cologne. This is why I give my business to ulta.

The girl who working 12/11/25 with the blonde baliaged hair needs to find a new career. So rude and seemed to have an issue with me for no reason. I asked her to help match my nanny to a concealer, she said she’ll get someone and just went and stood opposite us talking for 10 minutes whilst giving me dirty looks. In the end I asked someone else, she then proceeded to ask if my nanny’s daughter was purchasing a concealer because she also wanted to try some concealer, I don’t see how that was relevant. So rude and unhelpful. The tall dark haired gentleman who helped us was really lovely though!

I went into Sephora to make a return and I was not aware of their 30 day policy which it doesn't state anywhere on the receipt. I was so excited because I live 2 hours away from the nearest stand alone Sephora and would finally be able to make my return.
When I got to the register the cashier stated that she wouldn't be able to make the return or exchange due to the policy. I asked for a manager and she called a gentleman who came and was a little concerned but stated he couldn't do anything either. I then asked for the manager and he saw a lady walking by and she came over and stated the same thing.
I know how it is working in retail and I just felt like no one wanted to help me in any way at all. I felt like I wasn't worth anything. No care or concern was given to me as a customer. The last lady gave me the customer service number after I asked and the person on the phone had more compassion for my situation than anyone in the store.
The customer service representative did take my information and someone was suppose to get back to me but no one has yet. Honestly, I am so hurt over this but I guess this was meant to be because everytime I go in this store their are lots of employees but they don't really offer help. So its like the culture in that store.

Worst customer service ever! They don’t even greet you, and at checkout the staff was extremely unfriendly. One employee refused to help me exchange an item that she had literally just placed in the bag two seconds earlier. When I asked to swap it for another product, she refused and called over the supervisor/manager, who also declined to assist simply because they were too lazy to fix it. There was no acknowledgment of my request, no apology, and instead they made faces at me. People with that attitude should not be working at Sephora, which is supposed to be such a great store.

I visited this location about two weeks ago and had intended to complete the survey about my experience, but I was traveling and forgot my receipt at home. I tried to submit the review later, but the survey had expired.
I’m not a regular Sephora shopper; I usually go to Ulta because it’s closer to me. During my visit, Anastasia was helping me and doing a great job assisting me with what I was looking for. While she was helping me, the manager, Emily, came over and told her she couldn’t assist me anymore because she needed to help other customers on the floor.
I was completely fine with Anastasia checking in on other customers while helping me. She did exactly that, stepping away briefly to assist others and returning to continue helping me. Still, Emily kept interrupting her and telling her not to assist me.
I don’t know Anastasia personally. I wasn’t chatting with her just to chat. She was genuinely helping me pick out several items, and I appreciated her support. It was frustrating that she wasn’t allowed to continue assisting me even when she tried.
I’m not sure what the store policy is, but as a customer, it felt off for a manager to continuously interrupt an employee who was actively helping someone who was making a purchase. If this is store policy, I really hope Sephora reconsiders it because it negatively impacts the overall customer experience.
