Humane Society recommended me to take my cat to Scarborough Animal Hospital.
I'm extremely happy and satisfied with their service.
My cat is very difficult to deal with, and they surprised me beyond belief as they have the perfect touch.
With the use of pheromones my cat became calm tamed and manageable.
All the personnel was courteous, kind and very humane.
Thank You all

When I adopted my cats in 2016 from the Broward county animal care and adoption center, I was told they needed to go to this specific vet so I wouldn't be charged anything extra for the rest of their vaccinations, and I'm so glad I was sent here. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rob and the entire staff. They are incredibly compassionate and their love of animals really shows in how they treat the pets and pet parents.

Dr. Jessica O’Neill is beyond !!! She has literally saved both of my dogs! Helped one of my dogs have major knee surgery on both back legs. She’s great at explaining different level of care and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend !!

Our fur baby loves to go see his favorite vet! Dr. O’Neil loves Jett just as much as we do! The staff is really friendly and helpful. We drive 25 minutes and it’s totally worth it! So glad we found such an amazing vet!!

I could not recommend Dr. O’Neill more! She has been the most companionate vet my dogs have ever seen. She is the first and only vet that has done a full body exam right in front me, while explaining everything she does and staying calm and kind to my dogs, even when they were scared and did not want to be touched. The first time I came in, my dog was having unexplained symptoms for months and she was the only one who took the time to actually see my dog symptoms and referred me to a neurologist. My dog is now better than ever and I doubt he would even be here if it wasn’t for her. She takes her time with your dogs, takes your concerns seriously and takes her time explaining everything. She is the only vet that my dogs will see from now on.

Excellent service and care at Scarbrough Animal Hospital
We bring our three dogs, Tiffany, Chanel , and Prada, to Animal Hospital, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service. Both Dr. Robert and Alejandro are exceptional, providing top-notch care with love and dedication. Every visit is a positive experience for both our pets and us. You can truly see the love and professionalism in how they treat the animals, always caring for them as if they were their own. We love bringing our dogs here, and we highly recommend them. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and caring place for your pets, this is it. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love them. It’s hard to find a vet that actually cares. I know they are genuine and care about my dog. I will always come here. Blessed to have found them

We are extremely happy with the care we received from Dr. Rob Prieto and the entire staff at Scarbrough. Our yellow lab was already 11 years old when we switched to this practice and we always wished we had found this vet much sooner! As our dog aged, we needed appointments frequently and we were always able to be seen when needed. Dr. Rob treated issues with our dog's eyes, skin, joints and digestion. The advice from Dr. Rob was always professional and compassionate. The staff was loving toward our dog, treating him like a celebrity - it was really special. When it was time to say goodbye to our dog last week at the age of 14, the entire staff was supportive, compassionate and patient with us. We appreciate all they have done to care for our dog. We will always remember Scarbrough and would not hesitate to treat another pet at this practice.

Corporate greed. Lies. Deceit. If you want to save your pet, this is NOT the place for you. My sweet dog was in kidney failure and I went to Scarborough and saw Dr. O’Neill. Don’t let the friendly office staff and nurses fool you. They are kind and just doing their jobs. They are decent people from what I can tell. Especially Anna and Fredrica. They were wonderful. But behind that is a vet who will attempt to guilt you into doing insanely expensive tests and treatments that will give you false hope and burn your bank account. I took my dog to my own vet to get his senior blood panel on a Saturday and found out that he had kidney failure. The next day I went to Scarborough to get more information and seek possible treatment because my vet was closed. Dr. O’Neill said I should hospitalize him and do several tests that would cost thousands. My dog was 11 and I asked would this possibly save his life? I know that vet’s can’t predict that so I went home to talk to my family. I went back the next day to get him subcutaneous fluids to see if that would help him. A week later, after doing a repeat blood test to check my pup’s kidney levels, Dr O’Neill came into the room and bluntly said “He is much worse”. She then shamed me for not doing the recommended thousands of dollars of treatment and made me believe that I could have saved his life if I had followed her recommendations. She was too busy to even speak with me for more than a few minutes. I realized that as soon as she saw that I wasn’t able to spend thousands, I wasn’t worth her time. My gut knew this was wrong. I went to the Pet Emergency Center on cypress&Dixie and saw Dr. Lee. She was amazing and told me the honest truth: no amount of money would have saved my baby because the bloodwork indicated liver cancer. She said that the thousands of dollars treatment that Dr. O’Neill recommended would not have done a thing to save his life and he would have passed away after the treatment: I would have made my baby’s life miserable as I held onto false hope and spent money I don’t have. I did the most loving thing that day and gave my baby boy peace. I am so thankful that a true HUMAN BEING who hasn’t lost her soul gave it to me straight and did not try to bleed me dry for something that would not have helped. Shame on every vet that treats animals as profitable guinea pigs and treat clients as profitable suckers. If you need a wonderful emergency vet go to Pet Emergency Center on Cypress Creek and Dixie Hwy. You and you pet will be treated with dignity and respect and you will be at peace knowing you are being given honest information so you give take care of your pet in the loving way they deserve.

I can’t say enough positive things about this office. My dog has a chronic liver condition and Dr Rob has preserved his quality of life for 6 years now. He is truly a miracle worker! Alejandro has been so helpful in assisting me in learning how to best care for my boy at home. The entire staff is so kind and supportive. I would highly recommend this practice above all others.

Love this vet for my small dog. They are always helpful and ready to squeeze you in to get a look at your pet no matter the need. Parking is easy with plenty of spaces. My only concern is the turnover of techs at this location. I'm unsure if there are so many people working here I keep getting new folks or if the front desk and techs are usually new/leaving.

RUN WHILE YOU CAN AND STAY AWAY!!! Back in the days when Dr. Drew was the owner I was inmensly happy. He saved my recently adopted puppy from demodetic mange and never gave up on her. The treatment which would have been thousands of dollars was free. I was a client for 12 years and my Minnie was a very appreciated patient. Once the practice was sold, everything went downwards, and it is all about money. Minnie could have been saved if they took the time to listen to her heart. Every time I took her to the hospital the new vet Rob, he will only check her ears, listen to her heart for a minute and then prescribe antibiotics and hydration as she suffered from stress colitis and I had to put my beloved baby to sleep at another hospital because it was a night time emergency and she ended up having a bad heart condition. The care they provide today is horrible. When I rescued my new dog, I knew there was something wrong with her stomach. She was found roaming the streets of Miami so who knows what she ate nor how long she spent on the streets. I took her several times due to stomach issues, spent over $ 3,000 on less than two months if I am not mistaken. The vet said it would be best if she had an x-ray. He came back saying that he did not see anything wrong, but it was up to the radiologist and without being a radiologist, said that he could see an enlarged heart which ended up being normal. They continue to run all kinds of tests and I was tired of them. I spoke to the manager and discussed all the issues I have had with my new baby and her health issues. She told me that because I live in Coral Springs, I should go to BROOKSIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL and because of all my complaints she said I was not welcome at their practice any longer. I took her advice and went to Brookside Animal Hospital. The vet put her on a medicate food and she has not had any issues again. The practice is also expensive, but ever penny I spend with them is worth because my baby comes first. I wish I could have taken serious actions against them, but I don't have the time to do so. Keep an eye on them, go for a second opinion and make sure your pets are well taken care of. Please follow my advice.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I never write negative reviews, but my experience with Scarbrough Animal Hospital and those of my friends have been so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others. My friends and I have gone through nightmare scenarios that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I always try to find the silver lining in every situation, but this clinic has managed to nail the negative spectrum.
One of the most heartbreaking incidents involved my friend’s cat, Benji – a beautiful young Bengal with so much life ahead of him. What happened at this clinic is nothing short of malpractice. Benji didn’t make it out alive due to their negligence, and the pain of losing such a precious life is unbearable. I can’t begin to explain the devastation my friend feels.
Scarbrough Animal Hospital needs to be held accountable for their actions. If you value your pet’s life, please stay far, far away. I sincerely hope no one else has to endure the heartbreak and trauma that we’ve experienced. God, please protect any animal that ends up here – they’ll need all the help they can get.
