Decent cut, but $28 for a men's trim that took less than 10 minutes is pricey for a Hair Cuttery. The Coral Springs location I usually go to charges $17 for the same service. My fault for not asking up front though I guess.

I don't know why I waited so long to post this, but I got a god awful haircut here back in August of 2023. I came in with quite long hair and asked to refreshen my layers. I got a wash and cut and left with my hair damp. Let me show you what my hair looked like when it dried…
Anyway, I did give the salon a call and explained that my head looked like someone did my haircut with a butchers knife and they told me to come back a few hours later when the stylist had availability. The SAME stylist. My ereceipt says the stylist was Nisia. She sat me down and I pointed out this horrendous part of my hair and she explained the only thing we could do is go even shorter. I already could tell that’s what we had to do so I just told her do what she needed to do so that at least my hair could look good. She cuts away for a bit and then asks me what I think. My hair is a few inches shorter, but there’s still this noticeable shelf of a layer on one side of my head. I explain that my problem wasn’t really solved yet and she essentially tells me she doesn’t want to cute more off because then my hair would be quite short and she isn’t comfortable doing that. Essentially, she had already cut off so much of my hair that day that she was literally too afraid to continue. Instead of getting someone else to work on me, I reluctantly left. It’s been months and I’m still attempting to grow out this mistake. I did not get a refund at the time but looking back I probably should have.

I had an excellent experience at the Hair Cuttery on University Dr a few months prior to this with a stylist named Nika!

Made an appointment in Person on 4/23 come back 4 hours later for my 4:00 appointment and I’m told, I’m doing someone a favor tinting hair, can you come back in 2 hours.
Such nonsense you have to respect people’s time and appointment the business. Will find a new place

I made an appointment with a stylist, Nisia, for 330pm as I cannot go earlier as I work. When I arrived I was told she had left for the day. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I asked if there was anyone who could cut my hair and the Margarita said she would be happy to do it. Best hair it I have had in a while, she listened to what I wanted and it was perfect. I did go back and look at my appointment thinking maybe I hit the wrong time but nope it said 330pm. Not a good work ethic to know you have an appointment on the books and you just leave, no call to ask me to reschedule or if I could come earlier. Will definitely go back to Margarita for my cuts from now on.

It has been my pleasure to know Andrea True for over 20 years. In that expanse of time, she has talked me out of drastic changes I wanted to try during difficult times. I truly thank her for honesty in these moments. and, when other woman ask where you get your hair done, you know you have a hair dresser for life.

The lady in her 60s ruined my haircut. She was very sweet and warm but she is terrible at cutting men’s hair. She literally looks at the picture every now and then and doesn’t even know what she is doing. Nobody wets mens hair and then cuts it. She needs to improve!!! Sorry, bad start to my weekend. Very disappointing.

They had cut an inch more of hair off in the front and I am now moving hair cattery's for now on because of the terrible job they did and because they charged me 20$ for it and I want a refund and the person who cut my hair fired.
