The employees seem to not want to work, you enter the store and they do not attend to you and when you ask questions it seems that they will be bothered by being asked about the products

I bought the Play Station 5 at this store in Sawgrass. When we saw the invoice we realized that they had charged us a 25usd membership fee, which they had not told us anything about at the time of purchase. When we returned to the store they told us that we had to call customer service to confirm that we didn't want it. Which generates a terrible experience and service in this store.

The entire experience was so great until I found out that I was charged for a 1 year warranty on a game. I went in to buy my game, everything was great so far, we finish the transaction, the lady says "also it comes with a free 1 year warranty" I thought that was amazing and left. I check the receipt and I see an extra charge of $4 because of this. I truly dislike dishonest people just to make their quota on sales / KPIs. So be aware of they mentioned that included warranty because they are truly charging you for it.

Their policy is that they check all the used games. They gave me a used game that was broken with a piece missing. Moral of the story: make sure the employee checks the card because when you bring it back they will not honor their “7 day return policy”**Edit** we too dealt with Alfredo and had this EXACT same experience:Copy and pasted from another review:“The employee named Alfredo completely lied to me and refused to honor gamestops return policy. I came in on the seventh day to return a defective ps4 and he adamantly refused to honor their return policy which said to return within 7 days. I called gamestops corporate number and had them confirm that I was indeed there on the seventh day and was within their return policy. He went to the back room several times to “see what he could do” only to come out and say he cannot accept a return. He admitted that he didn’t call or talk to anyone when he went in the back because if he did he would’ve gotten the answer I received which is that I was within the return window. He’s a liar and a cheat and should not have the authority he has. The other game stop employee agreed with me but could not do anything for fear that Alfredo would reprimand him. I ended up calling another game stop who refunded me even though I didn’t purchase it through them. I was and still am dumbfounded that Alfredo took it upon himself to refuse gamestops own return policy. He’s a power hungry crook and I’ll never support this store again.“

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE.We purchased a used Splatoon 2 as a gift on 7/09/2023 only to find out that once the recipient went to play it it was broken and not functioning. Every used game is supposed to be tested for functionality. Clearly this was not. Upon trying to return the broken item on 7/16/2023 we were told that we were outside of the 7 day period which is FALSE! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. Alfredo is a liar and a thief!

So, recently my neon yellow left hoy con for my nintendo switch broke, I called multiple GameStop shops to see if they have on in stock and couldn’t seem to find one until I called this one and they said the have them in stock so me and my grandpa drove to the store for 20min while driving I made sure to call again to see if they still have in stock and I was told they do so 10min later I arrive at the store and they tell me they don’t have it in stock but I told I called earlier and they don’t me they have in stock but now apparently they don’t have it. So me and my grandpa drove back home but while on the drive back I decided to call again to see if I was lied to and when I called again and asked them about it they AGAIN told me they have it in stock. Me and grandpa wasted hours driving just to get lied to for no reason

About two or three weeks ago I bought a pair of ASTRO A10s from logitech in this GameStop location with a gift card I received on my birthday. The headphones worked fine up until a few days ago when the left earcup started having issues with audio output every time I moved my head, and today I went to return the headset. As I go to the store they ask me for a reciept which I tell them I’ve lost. Afterwards they checked my GameStop account which now was under a different name and email utilizing my personal phone number. After some back and forth about policies with the GameStop employees I ask for a manager and the employee taking my visit reveals to be the store manager. He doubles down on the policy jargon and turns his back on me to talk with a friend of his that was visiting him at the store. In the end, nothing was settled even after calling customer support and filing a claim on the phone as not only my GameStop account is still under a stranger’s information but also I’m unable to either follow up with the claim or return my equipment for a working product. Yes, GameStop support won’t give a follow up number to my claim and only contact the employees at the store. Also all of this happened when I was attempting to do an exchange for a greater value item that I was more than willing to pay the difference for. Finally, I would also like to say that I was unable to return two items that I received for my birthday because I did not have the receipt in this same date of Saturday April 22, 2023. This is outrageous and predatory behavior from GameStop against their customers as who in the right mind gives someone a receipt for their gifts. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would never wish it upon anyone else.

I empathize with the previous reviewer's experience, and hope they got their experience transformed into a positive one after a negative one. Did not purchase anything or interact with the employees, but the store is pretty spacious and had a lot of PS4/5 and Switch games. It's worth a visit if you're in Sawgrass Mills.

In this purchase, I was deceived by the seller of this store.I bought an Xbox Series X console and he told me that I must have to buy an additional controller.I had no alternatives and agreed to the condition. However, he charged me for a new controller, but left a pre-owned in the bag.Another detail is that I was not advised of a digital signature (PowerUp Rewars Pro) and was charged for it.Do not buy from this store as the employees are dishonest.
