I would avoid this company because they don't take criticism well and pay for fake reviews to cover up for their terrible business practices. They made a harassing and threatening phone call to me after I posted a negative Better Business Bureau review of our experience moving from Florida to New York.I cannot emphasize enough how you would just be better off moving your items yourself than letting any of these people lay one hand on them. We only received our items after we got a federal agency involved. And they were full of bugs.Edit: I see the company responded. If you seriously think I'm going to call a company where an employee screamed at me down the phone, you must be out of your mind. My partner's name is the customer listed, and he won't be calling either.

My mother-in-law's house was expertly moved by Direct Relocation Services expert team. They were quite patient and kind to her furnishings, and other things. My spouse and I heartily recommend them!

I couldn’t have expected for things to pan out so smoothly! From booking to the delivery of my furniture, I wouldn’t change a thing about how everything was handled. I encountered no problems whatsoever.

BUYER BEWARE: While I did book moving through Safe Ship, Direct Relocation services is directly responsible for services rendered. I did reach out to *************************** to share my disappointment and never got a response.Our pickup date was changed at the last minute but luckily, we were able to accommodate the change. Two guys arrived in branded shirts and truck. I felt confident that this was a legitimate company. One problem, I was told the inventory was not accurate and it was going to be more expensive than what I was quoted. What can someone say & do about this-hands are tied as need to get items moved!! Also, I was also never told that my items were going to a warehouse and would be unloaded and held until they had a full truck going to near us. Fast forward 9 days and we finally get delivery. This was after I made all the calls inquiring about what was going on. Communication from Direct Relocation Services was radio silent!! We were surprised to have only one person, in a Penske rental truck, no company identifying shirt show up. Was told another person was on the way to help with delivery and set up. Nobody ever showed. My daughter, husband and I ended up taking off 90 percent of the packing blankets so as he wasn't at our house all night. Additionally, I find it disconcerting that payments aren't made to the same accounts at pick up & delivery. Furthermore, leading me to believe the delivery was sub-contracted out. Appears they hide behind the loose regulations and lengthy contracts that hide the many loopholes.I will be sharing my concerns with the *** as the business practices I encountered during this process are unacceptable.

Working with Direct Relocation Services was a delightful experience. The movers were incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and cooperative throughout the process. Excellent work; I will certainly recommend them to others. We are thrilled as satisfied customers!

Moving from an apartment to a house can be tricky, but these guys made it easy. They went up and down stairs and elevators without any problems. They were careful not to damage anything. I highly recommend them for home and apartment moves!

I had an incredibly positive experience with Direct Relocation Services during my recent cross-state move. Their professionalism, prompt communication, and attention to detail were exceptional. Speaking directly with both the senior moving consultant Paul Stroncek, the dispatcher Maria Gonzalez and movers Joe & Levi ensured a seamless process. They exceeded my expectations and made the move stress-free. I'll definitely be using their services again. Highly recommended!

Don’t hire these con artists. They will give you one cost on their original estimate and then jack it up once they have possession of your belongings. Even if you pay the new “amount due”? They will hold your things hostage. For weeks. And they fail to pick up any and all phone calls. Oh, and this is after they agree upon one pick-up date for an out of state move and then renege on that, too. Contracts are meaningless to these people. They should be put out of business. Permanently.edit: This review is related to someone whose belongings they are currently holding hostage, but I’m not about to name names when DRS is already acting so unprofessional.

Our crew of five guys movedrs did a superb job. Very efficient, friendly, fast, and careful; movers have all the traits you could ask for. Without a doubt, they eased the burden of our move. Definitely recommend and plan to use again!
