Will definitely use this location's services on my future trips.Outstanding service at pick up offered by Pedro. Way better than what I am usually used with at airport locations, where I rent frequently from when travelling for work.Even though this location does not offer Avis Prefered services, I do not see how would that made it any better. Smooth pick up and even smoother drop off service with a great car selection.

Always a wait they usually only have one person working so it’s never a speedy experience. I was given a dirty car that you could see the seats were stained and it smelled like mold as if it was once wet inside. The car didn’t even have a full tank, I wish they had better options. She claimed there were no more cars that size available so I had to postpone the actual day I needed to leave to find another rental company. Time to find a new location as an Avis President’s Club member this treatment was unacceptable and I’m very disappointed.

I've been here over an hour, only had 3 people ahead of me in line, and I still don't have a car. Walked in at approximately 9:44am and it's not 11am.Edit: left an additional 20 minutes after this review with a different class of car than the one I rented and with worst gas mileage. The seven pending security deposit charges were a nice bonus for my credit card too.

A poor place to rent a car. I made a reservation for a car and when I arrived there was no car available. This has happened several times. I would rather spend more money than have a reservation without a car. They have no one to make a complaint to, they just give you the number to costumer service. Find another car rental place.

BY FAR THE WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I rented a car for two weeks paying almost $700 total, and tried trading to a smaller car after my first reservation ended. They closed out my first rental and then told me that they would not honor my "Employee discount". We were renting the car in the same manner that it was done prior and our denial came after they told two other guest that they were booked for the weekend. It is clear that they denied my reservation because of the "Government Rate" that provide a 50% discount. The reasoning that was provided went completely against what we were told during our original reservation and had no consistency between any of the representatives that we spoke with.To top it all off the front desk agent who was unable to make any statements without calling her manager (Rosa/ Rosie) had the phone volume up where i was able to hear how unapologetic and disrespectful she was. She stated multiple times things like "It's not our problem" and "Oh well they have to figure it out". After telling us that they would not honor our reservation or allow us to extend our reservation, both manager (Rosa/ Rosie) and the front desk rep stated that they would not be driving us home and that it was "to bad that they are stranded because she is just an employee". It amazes me that with me paying $700 and returning a car in perfect condition we couldn't be driven 4 miles to get home being that they were not busy and have a 3.5 mile complimentary ride available. When i tried to book directly with them so that i was not left stranded as a 25 year old woman they stated that they would give me the same reservation with a 15% discount which would cost more that twice the amount of the original reservation they refused to honor. This further proves that the only reason that my reservation was not honored was because of the money that they were losing with my "employee discount".It is no wonder that they have such a low review because they obviously do not car how they speak or treat their customers because as stated they are "Just employees"!

Even though I checked in early through the app, i still had to wait in line to pick up.This process really needs to be revamped.Car was clean, and new.Drop off was very fast and easy.

Apparently the first review was deleted! My daughter went to pick up the rental car and the woman behind the counter was so rude. She has smart remarks about everything. She charged the credit card twice and with her snide attitude tried to blame us for it. Never checked the car with all the scratches and marks on it..we took pictures. Should of read all the nasty reviews first. Never will I rent from you again.

At 8:10 am today, I went to Avis Sunrise to pick up the 7-seater car I reserved with weeks in advanced. However, I was told that none were available. Just that I have to wait. Not more explanation. The lady said that the reservation was just the first step to secure a car and my only option was to wait for someone to return one.I left angry and disappointed because I needed the car at 8:00 am. Later was no good for me and my group. The lady called me 2-3 hours later, but I did not answer.It was a terrible service for a 2-month in advanced reservation. Tonight, I just cancelled it and I am considering not renting with your company anymore (personal and business).Cesar

Avoid this location. Location was really slow and we were issued a car that someone previously had smoked in. There was also a problem with our rental agreement and rather than explore whether the rate code attached was causing the issue (like she did for the woman in front of me who held up the line for 45-mins), the rep said I needed to call customer service. Customer service said the store should have fixed the problem. A total fiasco!

This location is very close to my home, so I decided to give them a try recently and my experience could not have been better. I called an hour before my scheduled pickup time to make sure they would have a car ready for me, they confirmed they would. When I arrived an hour later, I had to wait only a few minutes while the agent finished up with another customer. About 10 minutes later, I was on my way with my rental. And the return was just as easy. Each time, the agent was polite, helpful, and efficient. I will definitely use them again.

The agent was not informative at all. She did not explain anything about the temporary $250 charge, and about a $48 charge that was made when I returned the vehicle. Also, the vehicle that was given to me had a slash in one of the tires and the tire thread on all 4 tires was very low, almost smooth. They did exchange the vehicle, but the second vehicle also had very low tire thread.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fast I got my rental car. I found you get the best deal by speaking with the sales person at the 800 number (pay for it then) It was nice to use multiple discounts. Try to avoid the noon hour…I think that’s the busiest time and there’s only one person doing everything.
