Fox& Friends have been taking good care of my sweet Murphy for the past 4 years. It is nice to find a veterinary office that loves cats!

I am so impressed. Wonderful care . We rescued a fur baby not know he had heart problems and suspected dental. Has both and is on 3 meds for heart. Amanda helped us to be able to get the medication through a pharmacy that has made it more affordable to care for our new little guy. Can't thank the Doctor and staff enough for there kindness, and help. Suncerely , Noreen Ricketts

We relocated to Florida two summers ago and needed to find a new vet for our dog and cat, Fox & Friends has been the best decision! They are always able to fit us in if our dog or cat are not feeling well and need to be seen. The doctors and technicians are always so kind and friendly. When we brought our dog in for a senior wellness exam, the Dr noticed her shape was off and suggested we run extra tests to check her liver. After some extra blood work, tests, and an ultrasound, we learned that our dog had liver cancer. Luckily we caught it early and were referred to a specialist to have the mass removed. If it weren't for Dr. McKalvey, I don't know if we would have caught it so early! We are so thankful for her and the rest of the staff at Fox & Friends. Since then, Lilly has been seeing Dr Gibson for regular check ups/sick visits. Dr Gibson is so kind and thorough! We know our fur baby is in good hands with the amazing staff at Fox & Friends!!

I have taken all my dogs to Fox & Friends for over 26 years. They all had great care and were referred to specialists when needed. For people complaining about prices, yes, it's expensive to have pets just like it's expensive for people to go to the doctor. Treatment and medicines are costly for people and animals. For the people complaining about misdiagnoses, it happens just like when you go to the doctor. All the office staff and vets are very professional and caring and have never been rude.

We had used them before in the past for regular annual pet exams and shots (dogs and cats) and always seemed expensive (with extra random fees) but service was alright. After spending about $900 between deworming treatments (ridiculous amount by the way) we decided it was time to fix our 20 lb dog finally. We usually use local places such as the humane society because their spay/neuter prices are reasonable but they had no openings so we decided to call for a price here. The assistant said she'd send a price estimate to my email... almost as if they don't have a regular set price for the procedure. Anyways the quote I received for a 20LB puppy was $700! ...$700 ?!?!? What ?!? Found out from a neighbor there's a place 30 minutes away that only charges $70 for everything involved in the procedure. We will no longer be using their services.

Last year I brought my cat in for a teeth cleaning and the bill was around $305. This year? Almost $700. They told me they weren't aware that prices of medications had gone up but I think if you're a veterinarian it is your responsibility to watch these things and let your customers know beforehand. I was later given a partial refund but I strongly suggest you get a quote up front and compare it to last year's bill (if you have it) so you can see just how much more they will be charging you. Then you can decide for yourself before you're presented with an absurd invoice post-procedure like I was. As I was disputing my bill, an assistant flipped through the papers I had signed that morning when I dropped my cat off. The form I signed said that I have a right to request a statement beforehand. My mistake was assuming that Fox & Friends was an ethical company who would be up front with pet owners, not try to stick them with an exorbitant bill and then basically say, "Well, you signed for it." Lesson learned. And the wait times are ridiculous. Every time I go there I'm early but I sit in the waiting area for 30-45 minutes and then get to wait another 15-20 minutes in the exam room. They have no sense of time and have no interest in getting patients in and out promptly. I would be better off finding a vet further away from home if it meant amore pleasant experience for me and my pet. And I've been looking.

Marley is our very large mixed who has been coming here for some time and has been treated very well.Due to my own age latest appointment time was not properly recorded in my records book, but they were honest and told me she didn't need to be seen until January, when I was looking for a September appointment.Marley is an extremely mild mannered non aggressive dog, despite her very large appearance and has always been well treated here.

I chose one star because I had to. First off I'd been taking my dog here since I got her about 2008. Doc Fox owned and operated business then. Service was great prices were fair. But doc Fox retired and sold business. Service from that point went down while rates went through the roof. The people were rude as hell also. Which they used to be friendly. I attribute that probably to new owners and how they are treated and shit rolls down hill. The last time I took my little Chihuahua for all her shots and to check out her ears. This was when they still would not let you in with your dog over some BS workers had compromised immune disorders. If that were true they damn sure did not need to be working in a vets office in the first place even before covid. It was an excuse to keep from having to deal with owners. But my bill that day for services id been getting since 2008 and there had been reasonable rises in prices over the years. But that day the bill was a whopping 500.00. I believe from the meds they prescribed. She lost her hearing also i believe becauseof the meds they prescribed for an ear itch. No infection. The drugs they prescribed for it was so over priced it was stupid. When compared to previous years. When Doc Fox was there we got along great and worked together to treat dog. Be cause I was a Firefighter paramedic we actually talked about issues and treatment opinions. That ended when Fox left. This one fool they hired for a vet right out said your dog will not last a year, that was 5 years ago. This place since Doc Fox has left is totally incompetent and are just running pets through the door like a dog mill. They gotta pay for that new building some how. But service absolutely sucks and I'd not recommend this incompetent over priced dog mill to any one. I could go on over my observation of how this so called vet office has went down hill since 2008 but I'd be here a week. This place has gone way down in quality of care and service and are raping people price wise because it's Sun City Center and they know older Americans will pay what ever they want for the care of their pets. People there are way better opinions available for your pet. If you love them avoid this shithole. i ended up going with a mobile care vet and if i must take dog to a on site vet location. I use a vet which is not in Sun City Center. Because they are raping people there. But with do what you want. It's your money and your dogs life. Proceed at your own risk and with caution if you do continue to use Fox and Friends and keep a lock on your purse. Notice there are 11 reviews in the 5 and 4 star areas a 8 reviews in the 2 and 1 star areas this says a lot. Like I stated I've started seeing Doc Fox in 2008 and he was great. New management are idoits and treat business as a money mill to bilk money out of seniors love of their pets and do as little as possible. I noticed a lot of people that used to work there and were absolutely fantastic people are gone now. One vet that died of cancer that use to work there with Fox was an awesome lady. She had a scar on her face due to a German Shepard biting her once. She was a great lady and her death was way too soon. A great lose to the world of animal care People that work there know who I'm talking about. That happened several years ago.

The vets and staff are very kind people. One of my cats got very sick; unfortunately, I ended up having to get her euthanized because she was in constant pain. The process was efficient and the vet explained everything that she was doing. Great vet clinic. Thanks.

Too many issues to post. Misdiagnosed, does not know how to treat end of life pets with vaccines, tried to refuse written prescriptions where I could purchase cheaper. I really don't know how the full time veterinarian received her degree in Vet medicine. In addition, still will not allow you in the room for exam. Why.....They SAID they xrayed him, but I do NOT believe it. If they did, they would have seen the mass near his heart like the new vet did when we changed vets. Pkus they way overcharge. I found a vet that is wonderful and exams your pet with you in the room. Just where a mask as they suggest. It's worth it. I was prepared to pay an enormous fee at this new vet since he needed xrays and bloodwork. To our surprise, was nowhere near what Fox and Friends fees were. Be prepared to empty your bank account with Fox.
