“I have banked with Suntrust for years and have found them helpful, approachable, and honest. I don't know what the previous person was talking about, but I have never had fees or any charges added to my account. In fact, they always pay any fees associated with using another bank's ATM. There are fees for returned checks, overdrafts, etc, and you must keep a minimum balance, but if you are a responsible client, there are no hidden fees.”

“Today I visited a local branch (FL2-821-01-01) in Sun City Center, FL. I am in town dealing with my recently deceased father's estate and have heard terrible things about local branches being closed and poor customer service. The branch was open today and beleaguered with many stressed out customers, many who are elderly, don't understand technology, and need special assistance and understanding. As I waited in line, I witnessed Stephanie Crutcher, who normally works out of the Apollo Beach branch, assisting customers in front of me. She was assertive and firm, yet compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and helpful, while offering sincere apologies for her customer's frustrations. When it came to me, she worked quickly and thoroughly, to help me organize the documents I would need to move forward, all while maintaining a sense of humor and sharing stories of the difficult recent weeks in which she had to deal with multiple frustrated customers and how difficult it was for her to see people feeling upset and not heard. Stephanie is truly a shining example of what true customer service is all about.”
