Walgreens is a place to refill prescriptions and shop for health and beauty products. The staff is often described as helpful, attentive, and highly competent, making it a reliable pharmacy that customers look forward to visiting. However, the store can be very understaffed, leading to significant challenges. Customers report extreme difficulty getting through on the phone, frequently being placed on hold repeatedly without assistance. This is attributed to the high volume of patients and being short-staffed, not necessarily the fault of the individual employees. There are specific procedures, such as not disclosing the availability of certain medications without a prescription already sent to the pharmacy for security reasons. Pharmacy hours are limited, operating with a midday break each day. While service can be polite and amicable when finally received, the overall experience is often strained by staffing shortages and high demand.
I visit Stuart about 4 times a year and have for decades. The staff is always helpful, attentive and highly competent, I know this sounds crazy but I actually look forward to going to this store and I never worry about getting prescriptions filled when I come to this area because of this store.

The employees were understaffed. Not their fault. They need to hire more people. Walgreens can definitely afford to properly staff.

Don't buy gift cards from them they will knowingly give you defected gift cards that don't work and won't let you return them or switch them out
