LAHIA saved my life, and flew me to my new home in Nashville Tennessee! Thank you for that.
I used to be a religious staff member, and then found myself as a client.

Steve Dickerson is the rudest, most disrespectful, and inconsiderate person that I have ever asked for help. I quote him " He told me Martin County is not the county to be homeless, I can't help you." The ladies at the organization were much nicer and accommodating!! They provided me resources to try and get a job, they gave me a tent, sleeping bag, and a mat. They said I could come twice a day Monday through Friday for food and showers. They said if I get a job that I could get a bike. Now because of Steve deciding he would harass me today when I brought a friend there for a shower. Mind you I was minding my own business in the parking lot over by the tables by the pond in the back. He comes over yelling at me being extremely rude and disrespectful. Then tells me I need to move my van to the front. I say ok and I am complying. Then as I am complying he tells me to leave and not come back. I tell him to tell my friend I am across the street waiting for her. He is laughing says I will tell her. I leave the property and comply with him telling me to leave. He then calls the cops and tells them to trespass me. So because of this person's immature and unprofessional behavior I have lost all of the resources I was going to use to get back on my feet. I'm handicapped and disabled and extremely disappointed in Steve Dickerson. I don't think he is fit for any position working with the public. I will pray that God opens his eyes to how toxic his behavior was today. He is supposed to help people not harass people that are handicapped and homeless just trying to survive. Especially when they are just trying to help other homeless people while they are trying to get back on their feet at the same time. Thank you to the nice and caring women that are working there. My advice is just stay away from Steve Dickerson if you go there for help!!! Stick to asking the women for help and try to fly under Steve Dickerson's radar. I witnessed him picking on a couple of other homeless people and I had only been there on 4 different times in 3 days. Anyways I am going to try to find other resources. Just wanted to warn everyone about how unprofessional Steve Dickerson is!!!

Well, basically, you can get a hot meal, am &pm, laundry, and nabbed a shower. PLEASE read the schedule! They have few that can fit in for other than a meal and clothing. please volunteer. if you live in a vehicle, parking is VERY limited. There's not much around this area, so take what you can get. Please sign a name on ur way in. They are closed in between hours. Call, but be careful, I was accused of many things, but still, not much in the area. They do offer hots and a few things if you get there early enough in the schedule.

Incomparable compassion for the needy and Homeless in particular.
The dedicated staff and volunteers provide concrete assistance to individuals struggling to survive without a home or support system.
Wholesome meals, clothing, shower facility, laundry, tag shop, one on one assistance and counseling for those needing help finding shelter, jobs, ticket home, or navigating the VA, Social Security, Healthcare system and finding strength with spiritual guidance.
Brenda Dickerson and Chef Carla, staff and Vollies, are loving and capable. Living proof of what is meant by being "kind and tender hearted". Would that more of us lived that Godly Truth.

Good place overall to help people but be aware some employees there are very disrespectful. Good luck trying to take a shower even if you come in early they let whoever take a shower as long as they want. But much respect for what they do. They just don't go by certain rules they put in place
