I was greeted by Brian, a polite, professional, young man who shows great enthusiasm in what he does for this locally owned store.The owner was also on site, working away!Very refreshing to experience the pride and work ethic these folks show…I’ll take this business any day over some of the larger ‘box store’ competition. Prices are fairly priced, and selection is good.”

“There are a lot of women's clothing boutiques on this street in historic downtown Stuart. The Island Cotton Company opened in 2011 and specializes in cotton gauze clothing and accessories which are perfect for Florida humidity. They opened a second location in Tequesta in 2017. Island Cotton Company has a large selection of women tops, bottoms, skirts, dresses, layering pieces and accessories. The clothes are causal, comfortable, and colorful. They are designed for the resort lifestyle. Some of the jewelry is handcrafted by local artists. Prices are on the higher end, around $60 for a top, but during my visit they were having a 50 percent off sale. They also have a lot of cute gift items as well like soaps and lotions. I had a lot of fun going through their jewelry and handbags. Island Cotton Company is definitely worth a stop in downtown Stuart.”
