The new owner ( Randy) does not respond to any calls about failing garage floors. The garage floor had a lifetime warranty for any failures. Randy's cell number is inoperable or blocking calls, the business phone has a voice mailbox that is full, so you can't even leave a message. Avoid this company, customer support for warranty repairs is a joke. My repair is a relatively small repair that would be a simple quick fix, but it will get worse if not fixed. Look at all the absolutely horrible reviews.

Similar issues as others with non-responsive Randy Cooper. They owe me a redo on the garage floor and he committed to doing so back in February but now - crickets! No response, phone # isn’t correct and their website is down. Floor is bubbling, breaking apart and while they came to inspect in January 2024, nothing has been done after agreeing the floor needed to be completely redone. Sad that businesses run this way and it appears it occurred after Randy bought the company from the previous owners.

I am so sad to have the need to write a bad review for Garage Gem… but we are having a nightmare after we use their service in October 2023 … we made our deposit paying half of the total price and when they came they were putting a color darker than the one we ordered … they tried to fix it … but they let a very poor and horrible work, Randy texted us asking for his payment which we would be more than happy to pay but we had to show and explain they poor work they did, he texted back telling us he agreed that was unacceptable job … but then he never came back to fix it … not only none of the lines are straight, some sides are wider than other, we are having stains and now the epoxy or whatever coat they installed it’s pulling out … I wish they read this message and honor their word and fix our driveway … I can’t recommend it since it’s terrible that we had this situation at this moment… please see yourself the pictures… and here it’s not even the part where they left the marks of their machine tires in the middle of the driveway …. Please do yourself a favor and try another company …

BEWARE! This guy is a thief! He took my deposit and I never heard from him again! He just opened another business- FLOORING! Proceed with caution! I have reported this to the police, the FTC and will not stop until I get my money back. It was intentional and it's criminal.

Garage Gem installed our garage floor in April of 2019. Supposedly we received a lifetime warranty. We have several spot where the epoxy flooring has come up. After calling since February and leaving 5 voicemails, I am assuming they will not honor their warranty.
Let the buyer beware! Enter into business with them at your own risk.

BAD EXPERIENCE
When I started the process of looking for a company to redo my mom's garage flooring & install new cabinets & shelving, Kristi came out to take measurements and helped us preliminarily work on the layout & style of cabinets. It took a few months to finalize plans but once we were ready to move forward, Kristi was no longer there and Randy became our new contact. We worked with him to finalize the order and he charged $3,500 to my credit card in Nov 2023 with a verbal approximation that the cabinets would likely arrive in Jan 2024. As January came and went however, I had to keep reaching out to try to get a status update and was simply told there was a delay. It wasn’t until mid-March when I called again that he finally told me the cabinets had arrived so we agreed to have a storage pod delivered on Fri, Apr 12, with work beginning on Mon, Apr 15.
Between Apr 3-11, I made several attempts by calling, texting & emailing to confirm that our planned dates were still on track to move ahead but heard nothing. No one showed up at our house with the storage pod on Friday, April 12 so we physically went to their office to try to speak to someone, but no one was there. We have basically been ghosted and would therefore warn others not to work with this company.

Garage Gem installed my garage floor two years ago. I do like it very much. They did tell me there is a lifetime warranty on it. I do have some areas that have peeled up and need some minor repair. I have been calling and emailing them for three weeks with not one response. If they are out of business I would hope they would post that on their website, google maps or anywhere. If they are not, then as a professional company in good standing I would think they should, at the very least, acknowledge me.

I would not recommend this company. They started project that was supposed to take 5 days. They has to push the start date off a week due to lack of staff. They came for about an hour a day and on the 3rd week it still was not finished and looked awful. They fraudulently charged my account for the final payment even though the final payment was not due until the project was finished. When questioned about this he stated he was taking money from one job to do another. We are now left with a terrible looking pool deck and have to hire another company to fix their poor job. This has been the worst experience ever.

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
Similar to other recent reviews, Randy Cooper the owner has allowed a previously good company to disintegrate. Since I placed an order in November for garage cabinets, Randy has made numerous excuses for delays and has missed two committed installation dates. Worst of all, since mid March, Randy has failed to answer phone calls, return voicemails, or respond to emails and texts. Sadly I fear I have been conned.
Absolutely DO NOT consider Garage Gem LLC for any project

Rough experience....Order the wrong color of cabinets and wall slat. Only discovered after half of it was installed. Agreed to give a discount so they didn't have to waste the material. Waiting on refund.Paid by credit card. Charged double and before the job was even complete. Agreed to reverse -- still working on that with our credit card company / Garage Gem.Then....wall slat collapsed (with less than 20 lbs on it) and a beach chair fell onto our car and dented it. Company agreed to pay for damages, but hasn't yet.Randy to his credit has been returning calls and trying to work through it all.
