My first visit and it was a very pleasant experience. The lady in charge welcomed me to the store and directed me to the section I wanted. She was busy with checkout but she took the time to ask if I found what I needed. I did not, but I was impressed with the customer service. I will be back.

Costumer service/employees are absolutely horrible, rude, mean, and unprofessional. The store is filthy and dumpy. I left without purchasing anything due to the absolute rudeness from the cashier. I will never be back and I will never recommend

The manager Denise is so rude, she thinks she is the owners store, she don't work for family dollar, family dollar is work for her she don't like people get the offers she has y really bad heart, she need to it better, and also is a big Mass at this store.

Family Dollar in Jensen Beach on the Blvd, in a VERY VERY tiny town where most of us know each other. All I have to say is GROSS about the store and more so the employees that think they're so cute to throw everyone out on a daily basis, meanwhile, I've contacted corporate to let them know of the thousands of dollars they are losing for them on a daily basis. I am working with multiple charities that do school supply drives through churches, and I walked into your store with $3000 and when I rounded the corner into a bunch of boxes (OSHA will have a problem with that and the picture has been sent), a rude girl (NICOLE I'm guessing by previous reviews, but I have a picture of her and her buddy), out popped up out of nowhere, who claimed the store is hers, said " can't you see this aisle is closed you can't be back here, ma'am". As I smiled and apologized and was going to ask her where the school supplies were when she said "ma'am, you can't be back here that's what these boxes are for. Can't you see?" And at that point, I lost it because I will never be spoken to like that and whoever does gets the wrath of me so she shouldn't be surprised by my comments to her, which she was LOL. She can dish it but she can NOT take it!! So I told her by OSHA laws, if she's closing an isle, it has to post signs for customer so they don't fall or trip over anything because no one can read her mind". And her response to me was in a very rude loud voice " get out of my store". I believe her name is Nicole (again, I have a picture of her and corporate has it so they will take care of her whatever her name is) and her mute coworker Desiree, who puts her hands on people to try to kick them out of the store. I guess that makes them feel like they have a purpose in life. I am so glad for facial recognition, technology, and that almost all the stores now have it so that they can pull up videos and see exactly how their wonderful employees are acting. No more hiding your attitudes from big brother:-) May God bless those two for a happy life because I really feel sorry for them. Their lives must be so miserable that they are so ungodly and rude towards people and it's written ALL OVER THEIR FACES THE SECOND YOU WALK IN. All you can do is call the owner, which I have, and also OSHA with pictures I sent, and pray for them. They really need it.

Really NO stars. This review is specifically for Family Dollar located on Jensen Beach Blvd., in Jensen Beach, FL.I purchased a $30 DVD player on a Sunday, BUT before paying, I asked if it was returnable. I was assured by 2 employees, one the weekend mgr, that as long as I had the receipt, it could be returned. I purchased it. That evening I had trouble getting the DVD player connected and finally gave up trying, re- packaged the item and went to return it the next day when the regular store mgr was on duty. THIS manager, Nicole, told me no, it could not be returned because of store policy regarding such items --a store policy that was not on display, except for a 4" x 1" notice that was attached to a shelf behind the cashiers. I argued that I couldn't have possibly seen that notice. ("Your eyesight is not my problem," I was told. ) I argued to no avail that I was told I could return it with the receipt. No, sorry, she remarked. I asked for the contact number of her supervisors. She wrote down a number that helped me reach corporate headquarters but got me no one and nowhere. Finally, after pushing the package toward me, manager Nicole added, "Now you have a nice rest of your day, you hear." To which I retorted, "And you @#&$#@ yourself, you hear. "Nicole became outraged, flew out from behind the counter, instructed another employee to call the police, as I was now illegally trespassing. In the end, I never got a refund, never got any satisfaction from corporate headquarters, and was banned from entering the store again for the next 2years. So I couldn't even go back the next Sunday to talk with the employees and manager who said I could return the item with my receipt.My only recourse, it seems, was to post this on Yelp.

I shop here about 3 times a week. They are great neighbors. Denise is friendly and always strikes up a conversation.

I don't know if she is the manager or what, but Denise has been rude, making unwarranted comments, every time I make a purchase. I chalked it up to maybe having a bad day, but it literally has been every time. The item I purchase is hard to find anywhere else. If I could, I would never shop there again.

My girlfriend and I waited by the cash register with all of our things unloaded for about 3 minutes while this woman did inventory about 5 ft away from us. We rang the bell and this was her response. How are you going to ring a bell when you see me right here. So I said that's the point we've been sitting here waiting and you're ignoring us who taught you about customer service? She just kept doing her inventory so we left all of our things at the cash register and left. This woman needs to be fired right now. We were there on the 25th at around 10:00 a.m. So whoever was working the register that day is the one you need to get rid of.

I was denied service for not wearing a mask. The employees were extremely rude and unprofessional about their route of informing me of their no mask no service policy. I understand that a private entity can deny service but a level of professionalism should've been held while executing their request. I felt like I was a criminal that committed felony murder. I do have a medical exemption signed by a licensed MD that states I don't have to wear a mask but still exercise face coverings when needed. In this instance a medical exemption wouldn't suffice and I felt discriminated against because of my condition. I did notify the employee of the American Disability Act of 1990 that states people with disabilities can not be denied the same services afforded to the public even in private places that are open to public access. I will be in contact with a disability lawyer to see where Family Dollar stands in their right to refuse access based on disability.This review was sent to corporate as well.

I was treated very well by the employees. They thanked me for wearing a mask, and I was sure happy to hear that. They do an excellent job at this particular location. I wish all Family Dollar stores were like that.
