This is to let others know they are not open on Saturdays as Google shows. At least get a recording that states the shop open days and times.

Had a craftsman rider and dropped off for warranty work. I called at least once a month for a update and was being told it was the transmission needs to be replaced and they will order but its on backorder. After about four months they told me they are not a warranty shop for craftsman anymore under new management and was advised they switched owners when I dropped it off. Everyone was nice but I wasted months when they knew this when I dropped it off. Picked it up and when to another warranty repair shop and work was done in 3 weeks.

Reading the bad reviews, it’s easy to go into Crumps with a negative headspace; I know that I did. .Especially if it’s a warranty repair and you’re already distressed about your investment failing. There’s a quote I like that applies:"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance—that principle is contempt prior to investigation."I will admit that my first interaction with them was not satisfactory to me; and I did leave a reactive voicemail. It was contempt prior to investigation. When I recognized this, I chose to do a little research. I called my contact at Gardner who sent me to Crumps. His name is Jim and he’s an older gentleman who has a capacity for empathy similar to the dependability of a Stihl. That conversationgave me information that inspired me to choose grace instead of anger.I brought the issue to Jeff, he ordered a whole new assembly, and it was fixed within three days. The reality is that they are backlogged with equipment; equipment that might not be of the highest build quality. They are also suffering from supply chain issues and staff shortages. They likely have warranty contracts with manufacturers that are probably paying them peanuts for their work. This isn’t a high-finance firm trying to swindle you out of your retirement. It’s Jeff and his team that show up, despite the obstacles. They are a very necessary industry for businesses and property owners in our area and I think we should look deeper and start appreciating them. You could say “not my problem” and choose anger. If that’s the case, your broken piece of power equipment is the least of your worries.

Cub said they could work on my big electric ZT mower. I called at 4pm the day before and they said they could do it. I rented a trailer and took off work. I got there and was told they hadn't been trained yet on them and couldn't help. They said a new guy must have told me the they could have and Cub kept sending them people regardless of training.I don't fault the shop for more than wasting my rental, diesel and half day. But Cub has been absolutely horrible supporting a $5500 mower that died with 8.2hs.
