This is their statement concerning Commitment to Quality & Safety: Our goal is to not just meet, but exceed, your expectations for patient care. That's our commitment to quality and safety. To that end, we measure many aspects of our patient care, safety, and service to determine if we are providing the best care possible. We then compare that information to that of other hospitals, set goals, and continually work toward even better performance. My husband is a heart patient and has been for 25 years so he knows he needs to carry a list of his current medicine at all times. He showed his current list to at least 5 medical staff members when he arrived in the afternoon of Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He had a procedure on Friday, January 5, 2024, and returned to his room after 5:15 pm because our son came to visit him at 5:14 pm and was told his dad was having a procedure. When I came to visit at approximately 7:30 pm to bring him dinner, his nurse came in to give him his nightly medication. My husband asked the nurse about a certain medication that was important for him to take if he was in A-Fib and which medication he was going to be given at this time. That's when we discovered another human error. According to the medical records concerning medication given to patients, he had been given a certain medication at 5:00 pm which was incorrect because he was in the recovery room at that time. Then we also discovered another error. There was no update in his medical records concerning a medication that his heart doctor no longer wanted him to take because it wasn't working according to the results of the procedure they just performed. So we are very concerned about the lack of communication amongst the medical staff and the gross possibility of human error with medications. As I said, my husband has heart disease; treatable with the correct medications and procedures. When I referred to "another human error" in the beginning, it was not only to indicate my reason for bringing dinner to him but to point out that since his arrival the "stroke" medication had not been given to him AND he was and remains to be in A-Fib. While he was visiting with our son, he called the cafeteria to order dinner. Remember, he had a procedure which required no food or drink. The cafeteria asked what he wanted to order and then told him he was at his quota. He told them he had a procedure today so that must be incorrect. He gave his name again and then his order but never received his dinner from the cafeteria. This is minor and pales in comparison to human error in medications given and miscommunication amongst the medical staff.

My husband went to the ER at CC South in April 2023 with severe abdominal pain while I was out of town visiting my brother-in-law who was is Hospice care. The doctor at CC determined he needed emergency gallbladder surgery which could not be done in their hospital. They transferred him to CC North where he had his surgery on a Sunday morning. I flew in and rushed to the hospital and was told to go wait in the recovery waiting room and someone would give me an update on his condition. After an hour wait nobody came so I called the operator and she gave me the room number he was taken to and when I arrived they said he wasn't on their floor and directed me to another room. He was supposed to stay overnight but developed pneumonia and ended up staying there 8 days with multiple bad experiences, panic attack, no follow through with pulmonary and therapy departments. I can see why my friends and neighbors all feel as I do about the poor care at CC Stuart. Martin Memorial was a terrific hospital until CC took over. Even a lot of the doctors have left and the ones remaining are very unhappy. It's also a nightmare when you try to call for information or to schedule an appointment. You are either put on hold for a long time or transferred from one department to another because nobody seems to have an answer to your question. Cleveland Clinic has been a big disappointment to this area.

This hospital was VERY attentive to my father who was suffering extreme ammonia and swollen lungs. The nurses immediately brought things as needed. When asking about medications and treatment for my father, they were very knowledgeable and able to tell me everything. Kind and attentive nurses, nice rooms and comfortable accommodations. ER doctors were amazing and attentive. Very comforting place and caring staff. Highly recommend. Thank you, for your amazing service here, Cleveland Clinic!!!

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!! Do NOT go here! I came home FAR WORSE than when I went in! Was in for 7 days and NEVER GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR, except to discharge me: Only P.A.s, IF you were lucky. Otherwise, RNs or Techs, but NOT WHEN YOU NEED THEM! Personally, I will NEVER step into this or any other local hospital. I would MUCH prefer to simply DIE at home...and I'm not just "being cute." I genuinely mean that.

I have been trying to schedule a scan, which can only be done on the phone. It has taken 10 days with no response calling 3 times a day, holding for 20 minutes and giving up. I finally went to the imaging department to be told the appointment can only be made via phone. The person at the imaging center did have a person call me and the appointment was made. I was told by the scheduler that there were only 4 persons answering the calls and each call lasted approximately 20 minutes. This is ridiculous.

Well, Cleveland Clinic is at it again. I was notified by a representative that C.C. no longer takes my insurance. So 3 hours before my appointment, I was told my office visit, that I had made over a month ago was going to be at least 217.00. I needed to pre pay that amount, they would not bill it. My insurance is from the Veterans Administration. I cancelled the appointment. Then around 5pm I recieved a notice that 339.00 is due. This company is just about money! I worked for Martin Memorial for years. Cleveland Clinic ruined our hospital. They are a garbage company. I am happy to go elsewhere to find competent, compassionate healthcare.

Nurses' station like a break room, loud, chatty, but no time to answer call buttons. Double/shared rooms--what sick person wants to be kept awake by another patient and family inches from his/her bed? Walls painted puke green. Took many hours to check out. We will never ever go back there.

Our family has been at Martin North twice in the last month. Both times they were disorganized and broke protocol each time with regard to dispensing drugs. Bring your drugs with you as they are negligent. Trying to get discharged is ridiculous. Both times it was four or more hours after they said they were processing the papers. Not only don't they care, they don't have a plan if something goes wrong. Stay away from this hospital and everyone associated with it. Go to Jupiter Medical Center or the real Cleveland Clinic in Weston.

OUTPATIENT IS SCARY: Brought my wife in for a procedure. We checked in and sat down. A lady came to get my wife for paperwork and I explained that my wife has never taken medication but took something prescribed due to extreme anxiety about this procedure and is falling asleep and unbalanced as medicine seems to be harder on her. They lady laughed very loudly and brought her back. Then I see the lady come back through the hall with my wife directing her into a room. Meanwhile a short little loud doctor comes through with an intern kid that looked 19 probably zero credentials with no badge and she is marking jokes back in the hallway about my wife being out of it. I see the little New York doctor and the intern lean around to look into the room as my is changing for a breast biopsy and I almost lost my mind. I felt absolute rage, shock and absolute disgust. I started to walk to the door to get my wife and lady saw me, we made eye contact and she knew I heard and saw that. She quickly hugged the loud little doctor who was very proud to be from New York and shuffled off. We have been through so many appointments and procedures to get to this biopsy and needed my wife to feel good again so choose to just walk outside and breath.

Pathetically disorganized. 2 weeks ago my husband was brought here to the ER. Patients were laying in bed in the hallways. No one came out to waiting room to let me know what was going on. Dr couldn't do the procedure my husband needed due to OR mess up so now we're back and we were just told there was a mess up in booking the appropriate room for his procedure so now he's not scheduled until 12:30. We were told to be here by 9:00 AM. Totally incompetent. Oh, and when I got to pharmacy with husband's scripts, no one had signed them!

This hospital lies, they told me to stay the night and that I would be looked at by a specialist in the morning. But nope, they have kept me here all day and still have not been seen. They keep telling me in an hour or two the doctor will come in. They have said that to me 3 times already. The staff here sucks
