Charlie at AA Quality Transmission is great! We had our transmission replaced by them almost a year ago now and we had a trip coming up when we found out we had a plate near the transmission that needed replacing. They were able to get us in and get the part replaced before we left for our trip the next day. They stand by their work and have excellent customer service! I would highly recommend AA Quality Transmission to anyone who needs transmission work done.

I own a 67 Firebird and having a problem with the transmission. I needed a shop that understood the car and transmission. I had been told that AA quality transmission is the place that knows these old cars. Chris and Charlie set up an appointment and found the problem right away. They order the parts and had the job done with in a week. Car runs great now. If you want good honest work take it to them.

Fixed transmission fast and gave me excellent directions to get there the easiest way and i did not have to make a uturn on us1 pulling my truck there. Staff is great. I ll recommend them anytime.

They were referred to me by my mechanic. I possibly had transmission issues and made an appointment to drop off my car. It took about 3 days before they did a scan yet they did not work on my vehicle then. It was on the fourth day I decided to go in person and ask. They checked what the scan codes were and nothing related to transmission. So almost a week without my vehicle and nothing was done. I then noticed my passenger side mirror broken. They claimed it wasn't them. Although they also said in the pre-inspection upon getting the car, it was fine. So someone in their company broke my mirror and they are not paying for it. Exhausting and inconsiderate.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE USING THEM. I needed a new clutch and I got a quote over the phone for the amount in parts and in labor from the owner. The owner told me it may be more in labor, but that he would be able to tell when he got my car in the shop, but would let me know if it was going to be more before doing any work. I wrote down all of the information that he quoted me. I was originally told 1-2 business days tops. I called everyday, sometimes I would get to speak to someone and other times I would leave a message with no return phone call. Several days later I was told they were waiting on a part, which I did not understand why they would not have ordered the part when I scheduled the appointment. A week later I went to pick up my car and was told the cost was more than DOUBLE what I was quoted over the phone. My car is very old and I was debating whether to fix it at all. I was told by the owner that there was something else that needed fixed on my car, hence the extra cost. The part he said was broken was replaced a year ago by another mechanic's shop out of state and should not have worn out that quickly. No one from the shop ever called me or got my permission for the additional repair. He did end up reducing the cost somewhat, but not down to the original quote.Service: Transmission
