I can't say enough good about this hotel/marina. The accommodations are basic but very comfortable. The staff are warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The diner and store's offerings are above par. However, if you require wifi for connectivity while onsite you will be disappointed. I'm a small business owner and needed to "work" while visiting but, connectivity was a real problem. My phone would connect...and drop intermittently but, neither my iPad or laptop would connect at all.
The marina staff were very helpful and having a boat hoist onsite seems really convenient however, while lifting my boat by the tie down shackles, they broke both shackles then attached a hoist tag to one of them but never mentioned it to me.
Noteworthy details: All said and done, the staff and their warm hospitality is the shining star of this hotel and marina.

Nearby activities: Enjoyed the store, Mari and river cruise wr went on. It was scallop season and the food nearby was delicious.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The 2 bedroom was a perfect fit for our family. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed! We will be back!

The River Inn provided housing during Hurricane Debby. The room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows super comfortable, and the shower was awesome. All amenties (soap, shampoo, lotion, conditioner) were provided. The coffee station was well stocked. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was welcomed and all my needs were met. Their grill at the Marina cooked up a great burger and fries. The views were amazing!

Really nice and welcoming little hotel right next to the water. Staff was great and shared their best recommendations when we checked in.
A little gem if you want to see the old Florida and hang out with more locals.
Would have loved to stay more days if it wasn’t for a tight deadline with a flight home

Great place to stay...a bit retro, but very clean. The staff was wonderful! Made our experience great! We would definitely stay again!

Walkability: Marina across the street. We were able to have breakfast there and fished off the dock....we did go just before scallop season

Great family owned inn and marina! Wife, dog, and I stayed there 3 nights to go scalloping. Super friendly folks. Priced right. Great setup if towing a boat. We rented a boat slip and had a blast. Will be going back next year.

From the UK to Steinhatchee! We stayed for one night on the way to Navarre - a warm welcome from Patty and helpful Liam - room was big, with a separate sitting room and a big refrigerator. Big comfy bed - location spot on for all the local activities. Beautiful location and clean property - highly recommended ?

Accidentally the tv remote ended in my luggage. They charged me $107 without even speaking to me and when I said I would mail it right back to them they would refund half the charge because I caused distress because they had no extra remotes. What if a tv remote was not working for a guest? Would they refund the guest $107 for a one night stay. No way. They were none interested in being reasonable for a simple mistake. I understand being responsible for missing items but when promptly returned you should be refunded the charge, not half. Ridiculous! It’s not the same as smoking in a room where it has to be deep cleaned. These people just don’t get it.

What an awesome place for a girls fishing get away. Everyone was so so kind, friendly and accommodating. From the Inn to the Marina store the staff made you feel so welcome. If you want to book a fish guide, Captain Mike Baker is your man!! Thank you Steinhatchee River Inn and Marina for making this a great experience.
