Beautiful Southern coastal, family friendly, and safe resort(more like a charming little city). There are plenty of activities to do while here. Neat paths and walkways(mostly lit) to explore and walk on throughout the entire area. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, non-heated pool, shuffleboard, sauna, hot tub, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton, ping pong, playground, bicycling, golf carting, dog park, etc. They have plenty of nature viewing areas, whether it be a bench, chair, swing, or picnic tables. They even have a petting zoo with sweet goats, ducks, and rabbits. The stunning views along the Steinhatchee River are picturesque. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Cabins/homes and the church were beautiful. Groundskeepers do a great job keeping everything picked up and clean.*Fun fact: Former President Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Carter even vacationed here in 1994.Nearby activities: Close to everything. Great location.

This place is one of the very best places to stay in Steinhatchee,FL. The cottages or cabins each have their own unique look all victorian built. From the smallest of group sizes to the largest , I am sure they can accommodate your needs. It's beautiful enough for honeymooners and safe enough to bring your family. They have a beautiful variety of landscapes ,access to Steinhatchee river ,a cute little farm site where you'll see some cute dwarf goats and bunny rabbits. You have access to a swimming pool as well as ,a beautiful stained glass chapel that would make a beautiful wedding ceremony for anyone looking for a venue. It's really like a beautifully landscaped victorian village that will leave any visitor glad they came.

We have been coming to The Landings for our Family Reunion for 25 years in early May. We rent 6-7 houses each time. We obviously love it and plan to continue the tradition.

We got married here 18 years ago. Our 16 year old daughter wanted to see it up close vs pictures. Looks better than it did then with lots of growth in the area. It is in the middle of nowhere - but that makes the place all the more special.

We stayed here in Taylor's Landing for a romantic getaway weekend. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous decorated with mermaids and nautical pictures in hues of blue and green. The bed is firm and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a garden tub. A nice touch in the bathroom is the fireplace. The kitchen is adequate for the space. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend so we couldn't enjoy the porch. It was a quiet relaxing time and recommend it.

My husband and I rented one of the cozy honeymoon cabins during off season and had a wonderful time. Cabin 27 is very luxurious, romantic and private, with hot tub for two, two-sided fireplace, back screened in porch, massive luxury king bed, cozy sofa, table for two, and fully stocked kitchen. (Bring your own food.)Charming riverside resort and town leading to the bay & gulf. Steinhatchee Marina nearby with boat rentals. Nearby Kathy's restaurant serves whole flounder, batter-fried to perfection. McDavid's was great for breakfast. If fishing by boat and not familiar with the waters, you'll want to hire a boat captain to show you the best fishing spots. Plenty to choose from, but ask around. :-) Would attach photos, but dropped my cell phone in the bay!

Got to stay in one of the honeymoon cabins and was not disappointed! The room was set up in a cozy setting with a warm fire going when we arrived. The bathroom was big and the tub was even bigger, finally got to relax and enjoy time with my family! Our stay was very peaceful, no complaints!! The staff was over accommodating when we left our favorite stuffed animal at the cabin during check out. They kept Mr.Slothy safe and are shipping him back to us now. Would recommend to all vacationers looking for a quite getaway!

Architecturally beautiful individual residences to let. Well thought and private with docks, petting zoo, chapel and conference area wrapped in the charm of old Stinhatchee Florida. Stephanie, that handles reservations, another great asset. Well done.

We held a wedding there and it was a extremely beautiful place to hold it. Words can not even begin to describe the beauty of this place it's kinda like going back in time I would just sum it up like this it's a place that time forgot and it's beauty. You'll just have to experience it for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

We love, love, love Steinhatchee Landing! The community atmosphere is the best of southern hospitality. If you want a laid back and relaxing vacation, this is the place to go! We love it here! Great accommodations, great restaurants in the area with great music. The fishing is phenomenal and I love sitting by the pool and reading a good book! A hidden gem, Steinhatchee landing will not disappoint.
