I bought a book for a special Christmas gift written by a local author. I wanted UT to be autographed. They contacted the author, who came by the shop and wrote a personal note. Tombomlo called me to let me know it was done. When I picked it up, they gift wrapped it beautifully for me. All at no extra cost! And they have some great items other than books too.

The best place to go on any given day. Is it raining? Go get a book to pass the time. Is it super hot out? Go get a book in their AC. Bored? Book. The staff is always super friendly, and the books aren't horrendously priced. They're also nestled against TWO great coffee/beverage shops. Could you ask for more?

A rare independent book store where they love books and the people who love books. They will go the extra mile to help find what you are looking for and often have authors in house at night talking about their publication and are available to sign their books. Having a nice free glass or two of wine while listening to the authors is also a nice touch by the owners of this great little independent book store. A St. Pete treasure we should all support... and I'm from Tampa.

On my way to an event in St. Petersburg, I made a pit stop at Tombolo Books. It is a beautiful gem of a bookstore with a wide variety of books available and an amazing staff that is always ready to help. Ryan, one of the staff members, helped me pick out an amazing book.The atmosphere inside the bookstore is calming, making it a must-visit place for book lovers. The back patio is shared with a coffee house and features a beautiful patio where people can read books and enjoy coffee.Overall, Tombolo Books is definitely a beautiful gem of a place to visit in St. Petersburg.

We're so lucky to have this gem in St. Pete! I've picked up some great books there based on staff recommendations, I've had them order me books that weren't in stock, I couldn't ask for a better bookshop experience. Friendly, wonderful staff, owners, clean and cute store, small but nice assortment of gifts and cards, too. Get on their email list to find out about all the book clubs and author talks!

You can never go wrong with Tombolo. I remember when they didn’t have a storefront and did amazing work uplifting necessary literature at many pride events. This is a bookstore for all. Great recommendations, storefront, pricing, book clubs, fun events, and general deep care.

Tombolo Books is a gem. Tampa Bay is so lucky to have an independent bookstore with a knowledgable, engaging staff who have a gift for recommending the perfect book. Candice and Alsace have embraced St Pete and do an incredible job attracting renowned authors to the area. Thanks for choosing to live and work in our community.

Not a fan of heavily "curated" bookstores, as they often reflect the biases of those curating the books. This one is no exception. If you have similar tastes you will like it, but if you don't, the selection will feel lacking... 3 stars for looking nice inside.

Awesome people, great books (love the recommendations!), and an excellent array of book clubs to choose from. Easily my favorite local bookstore, and it's right next to Black Crow for some great coffee. What better way to spend a morning?

Very cute bookstore. Nicely stocked and labeled with lots of options for every genre of reader. Fun little labels throughout too from the staff who have read different books and recommend. Clean bathroom with changing mat for families. Author signings throughout the year. We enjoyed our visit.

It is an excellent collection of books and stuff. Mostly books. This is an LGBTQ÷ friendly establishment at well. A wide variety for anyone to treat yourself and read.

Seriously the best book store in St Petersburg. It's small but they have a nice rotation. All of the staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a staff recommendation section with a little book report to tell you about the book and its so cute.

Great selection of books including local authors here in Florida. The staff is super helpful and very approachable. They are located in this compound where there is a separate business for coffee and another for smoothies. There is a beautiful outside seating for patrons to sit, read and drink their coffee and smoothie.

This is, hands down, the most adorable bookstore I’ve ever been in. It’s cute, it’s small, it’s cozy, it’s inviting and the staff is incredibly helpful and awesome. I attended a book launch event with my book club, so that’s how I stumbled upon this place. I wanted to just stay and read. There’s a little coffee shop nearby and it’s like the perfect combination! It’s not completely downtown so you don’t have that busy feel, but you are still near the downtown area. Parking is crazy, so just expect that, BUT it doesn’t matter. I returned a few days later with my kids as they have decent kid selection. They have a great selection and they promote local authors, making them accessible and fun to meet.I cannot wait to return here as it’s a little hidden gem! As a former English teacher, it’s so nice to see that a bookstore is doing it right!!! It warms my educator heart to see this place bustling when I was there on a Saturday.Check out this adorable little store. Grab a book and just sit and read. You’ll feel the vibe! If you are a book lover and bookstore junkie, this is your new home!
