We're very picky about beef quality and the pure flavor of the meat. Of all the meats we have tried..online...small, local markets in Florida and in the midwest.....anything short raising cattle in our backyard, this is in our top 5. We did the USDA prime ribeye. The meat cooked very well. It was a little tough(not many would notice this) but I think it had been dried out too much. Luck of the draw on that. Very flavorful. Pro Tip: Buy the tallow butter that's hand churned in the shop. Slather it on and enjoy the crust and flavor it creates.

I went into St Pete Meat and Provisions expecting to buy some meat, but I walked out feeling like a certified carnivore! These guys are the absolute meat maestros. Need a ribeye cut with the precision of a diamond cutter? Done. Want your bacon sliced so thin it doubles as wrapping paper? Consider it handled.
I asked them if they could cut my steak in the shape of a T-Rex, and they didn't even blink. They just asked if I wanted it medium-rare or Jurassic. They’ve got every kind of meat you can imagine – and some you probably can't. I mean, who knew kangaroo steaks were a thing?
The staff is friendlier than a cow in a field of daisies. They know their stuff and will educate you on the fine art of meat selection and preparation. They'll even throw in a few dad jokes while you're there. I left not only with a perfect cut of beef but with an abdominal workout from laughing so hard.
So, if you need meat cut to your exacting specifications or just a good laugh, hit up St Pete Meat and Provisions. These guys will meat your expectations and more!

Best quality meat in DTSP! Went from mostly plant-based to mostly meat after learning more about the industry from this well-informed/equipped staff. Definitely learned more than a grocer has been able to help with before. Have lost more weight Highly recommend daily pick-ups/specials and organ meats.

BEST BUTCHER IN TOWN!
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She went in-depth regarding different cuts and was also able to special order Bison filets and anything else I requested.
Have been coming here each week and every time I can count on top quality service and MEAT! ?
The girl with the colored hair has helped me every time and I appreciate her passion and knowledge.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for top quality and selection!

Had a great experience here! Bought chicken thighs, ground beef, and steaks, and all have tasted fantastic. I love that they focus on partnerships with local farms to source their meats. Will definitely be returning!

Disappointment...Dropped $70 on two rib eyes, got home, and found out they were way past their prime. Looks like they showed the good side on display, but flipping them over at home was a nasty surprise. Felt totally ripped off, especially with all their talk about selling fresh meat. My advice - skip this spot, or if you do end up checking it out, give everything a super close look before you buy – especially for all their things being pricey!
