I waited over 6 months to have my 24' sailboat bottom painted and the wait was well worth it! I couldn't be any happier with the work done by Salt Creek. Bob did a fantastic job making recommendations and communicating what was being done to make my boat better than ever! My centerboard is now functional again. Thank you Bob, Josh, Donna, and everyone else that worked on my boat. You guys Rock!

The folks here do excellent work at prices that are totally acceptable. Communication was a little weak, but hauled me out right on schedule, and completed the work in a very professional manner. I felt very comfortable having my boat worked on here.

Having my boat work done at Salt Creek Marina turned out to be the absolutely best choice I could have made.I visited more boat yards than I can count looking for a good yard to work with. When I visited the Salt Creek Marina in June 2021 the owner Tom had to personally stop working (he was sandblasting a boat bottom himself) to take a minute to talk with me. After a few minutes I knew this was the place.There was a "6 month" wait for a bottom job so I scheduled it for mid Nov.After hauling my boat it turned out that there was a LOT more work that needed to done than originally thought. Tom was great sharing his expertise and recommendations. He was more than fair with his pricing and both he and ALL of his staff were more than accommodating.Most importantly, they did an absolutely amazing job bringing my boat back to top notch condition.If you are anywhere on the west coast of Florida and need boat repairs, this is hands down the first place you should call!

What a difference from previous experience! This yard is one amongst the 5 along Salt Creek, but I understand it’s the only DIY yard here. Staff and office folk are friendly and always willing to help. They have haul out service or in a slip tho those are very limited. The area is close to many shops- welding, metal work, engine parts, motor mounts, sails (new sail loft on site), rigging (on site), engine mechanic (JR is fabulous), electrical (Bob is the Best!), West Marine, groceries, eateries, downtown, Tampa stores, etc. Seriously, everything you need is nearby. Hours are 7-7, 7 days a week. AirBnB can be had nearby along with hotels of different types. Downtown St Pete is vibrant and exciting and they have lots of art installations. The Pier is across the airstrip. The area is historic. We finally found a great place to get work done. Absolutely recommend it here. Also, The Big Catch is a short dinghy ride up the creek. So glad we found it here and I wish we came here first. Lesson learned!

Haul out 11/22/21 for bottom job and maint. on my '91 Hunter 28. Tom is very customer oriented and knowledgeable, taking time to answer all my questions and offering options for work needing attention. The svc came together in the time frame given. For the extra work needed to bring her back from the brink, the charge was reasonable and fair. He has a good, friendly maintenance crew. Just spent a week in the yard for a bottom job. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The yard is well organized and clean. I highly recommend Salt Creek!

IF I had a boat this would be the place for it. My BF had work done by these guys.who were knowledgeable and did excellent work. I was there to transport the boat to permanent mooring.
