I had an accident near this shop, and I couldn't have asked for better assistance. They swiftly got the part I needed for my car within an hour of the incident. Not only did they help me retrieve my lost key from the grass nearby, but their friendliness and honesty were truly refreshing. It's quite amusing that they specialize in American cars, and here I am with my Chevrolet Camaro! Despite the irony, their exceptional service turned my terrible day around. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back one day, but next time for some performance mods, as that's their specialty.

This is a delayed review as I've had to sit on it for a LONG time before deciding to share or not. The owner, Joe, is a good person and trying to run a solid business. However, at heart, he is a salesman and will do what it takes to get the work and your car in his shop even if the project is beyond his level of experience/expertise. I know folks that are happy with his work and I know folks that aren't. Unfortunately, I fall in the latter category.I would trust Powertech to do basic bolt ons, short/quick projects, and potentially dyno use. The shop is a nice place and well kept. I would not trust Powertech for involved or longer projects.Rather than going into deep details, my high level experience is as follows:- I brought my C5 Z06 to PowerTech Performance in May 2017 for a failed motor replacement and to make the car Track ready as an HPDE toy.- The relationship started out great and Joe was easy to work with. Happy to research the build and options and get the parts ordered.- One characteristic of Powertech is that they do not like to mess with anyone else's work. So if they are fixing something, they want all new parts - otherwise they can't trust the work that was done. I was fine with this - everything they touched was replaced from engine to steering rack to bushings to ECU etc.- My estimated repair grew from a $25k fix to a $45k fix.- My simple engine swap turned into a new motor, dry sump oil system, clutch, transmission rebuild, rear end reseal, etc. etc. (single receipt with 40k on it).- My project was "completed" on March 2018 but immediately had to come back after leaking oil all over my garage floor - so a 10 month project.- Motor failed at first event due to oil pulley not being secured (missing key).- Powertech replaced my motor free of charge with another new crate LS3 - took a lot of back and forth and stress - but they owned up to the poor work done.- Motor 2 work started in April 2018 and was completed October 2018 - 5 months to swap the motor.- Motor 2 FAILED after 4 events due to the dry sump plumbing not being done properly (didn't block off the OEM pump passageway despite the OEM pump no longer existing - envision oil freely dumping back into the pan vs. being forced into the cylinders).- Powertech was not interested in the car or me any longer and I had to seek out a new shop to do the work. I also no longer trusted the shop and their ability to do the work.- New shop confirmed failure was due to the improperly plumbed dry sump system causing oil starvation and burning a bearing.So, in summary - Powertech took about 1.5 years to 'fix' my car but the car ended up in the exact same condition as it started - blown motor and inoperable. However, my bank account was significantly lighter and marriage significantly strained. I understand Powertech also lost on the project having to buy a 2nd motor (thank you) but still was doing a project they didn't know how to do properly and shouldn't have been doing.

Joe and his crew installed American racing long tube headers on my 2018 Sierra Denali. The whole crew was very professional and did an amazing job. Love the truck even more, thanks guys!!!!

Words cannot describe the level of service at Power Tech. I had Joe put an new harmonic balancer on my 02 C5, and after looking at my car, diagnosed a multitude of other problems. I had been turned away from multiple other shops of the area, and Joe went above and beyond, pricing was fair and communication was wonderful.

Nothing less than the best vette builders in Florida. They basically built my 2004 C5 to be a fun daily driver with 629 rwhp. Joe is the best owner I have ever dealt with for building a car. His staff is friend and professional. I wouldn’t even attempt to go anywhere else.

JOE AND HIS TEAM ARE AMAZING. PHENOMENAL. OUTSTANDING. UNMATCHED. TOP NOTCH. FANTASTIC. EXTRAORDINARY. OK that's all of the adjectives I can think of at the moment lol. I got my c7 in April this year and started having problems right away. I made the mistake of taking it to R&B Auto and got taken for a ride. Then went to Real Speed. I told both of those shops I was nearly positive it was the torque tube and one of them told me nope you just need a tire balance. The other said there's absolutely nothing wrong with your car. I didn't believe them so one morning I sat on the couch and googled "corvette mechanic". Powertech popped up so i called. Within seconds of me talking with Joe on the phone, he diagnosed it as the torque tube. I brought it down, he put it on the lift came back in a few minutes and said yep definitely the torque tube. Joe got on the phone with my extended warranty company right away and of course being the asshats they are they denied the claim. Joe went to bat with them for me. And after a week of both myself and him arguing with them we finally got it approved. He also fit me in to get the job done because I was driving the car to NY in about a weeks time. The only bad thing about Powertech is that I didn't find them sooner!!! Being a woman I have always had problems with mechanics trying to scam me etc. But not with Powertech. Joe is hysterical so you'll always get a few good laughs. But more importantly he is honest and trustworthy and he knows what the hell he's doing. THIS WILL BE THEEEE ONLY SHOP MY CAR EVER SEES AGAIN. END OF DISCUSSION. I trust you guys with my c7 in a way I would trust my dad or my brother with it. Thank you again to all of you at Powertech!!

Powertech Performance is by far the best shop to trust, if you are looking for absolute corvette wizards then these are the guys!! Joe and Powertech are the only ones that will ever do any work on my 19 Zo6. They are the best and it's not even close!!!

Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They tell it to you straight. They do great work. They tuned my truck after swapping the cam and doing a bunch of work. Tune was done well and truck runs amazing! This is the place to go if you want it done right.
