My wife and I had a great experience with Mattress Firm after losing all of our beds due to hurricane Helene. David K is deserving of a promotion. He listened to our needs, followed a truly consultative approach and got us exactly what we needed. When he found out after our visit that the Orlando Distribution Center was without power and couldn't deliver for two more days (we had also just cancelled our hotel reservation), David loaned us two "bed-in-box" Sleepys mattresses from in-store stock to get us back into our home that night. When the delivery missed the time window without an e-mail update and we thought we'd have to wait another day, David was quick with an updated delivery time. The delivery team did a great job and were in and out in about 20 minutes, leaving us the best night's sleep since before the hurricanes.

Do not buy from them. We bought a mattress 3 days later after the sale and 24 hours before delivery they called and they dont have they will refund our money!!! Really!!!! You didnt know you didnt have the mattress when we paid for it. Then when I came back they asked me to leave and they would refund our money!

He explained the differences among products, answered our questions, and ultimately we felt great about making our purchase thanks to his customer service.

We bought a mattress and adjustable frame from this location recently. While in store TAD was very helpful and got us taken care of quickly as we had other obligations and popped in on a whim. We were told that along with the deal that they would come deliver, install and test the frame before leaving. This really sold us as that was convenient. We were told we could pick the day of delivery and would be notified before hand with a two hour window as well as a notification when the driver was on the way from the previous delivery. We picked Friday as I had just returned from a work trip and had another one coming up at the beginning of the following week. So we scheduled it out a few days but before the weekend so we could get other things done. I was home on Friday waiting for a delivery notification and only after waiting around most of the day with no call, text, email notifications I called the 4th street store. I spoke with CAS, he told me that we had actually been bumped to Saturday delivery and that he was going to inquire. He told me that I should receive a text confirmation before the end of business (8pm) and to call if I had not been notified by 7:45pm so he could look into it. I told him that I appreciate his efforts however I already wasted a day of not getting errands done and had to cancel a previous engagement but the next time we would be able to get delivery would be the week after next. We are extremely displeased not only the fact that we were bumped (why pick the day?) but more so that we weren’t notified to be able to change plans and get things accomplished on Friday. The fact that I had to call and hunt down an answer is the most upset part however. It would be disappointing to get notified that we had been bumped but to not be told at all and have to track down an answer is not acceptable.
Then on Saturday when the truck arrived the delivery guys brought up all the stuff and set it in the room as it’s heavy and awkward. The driver handed me his phone and said please sign this and then left. I asked why they weren’t installing and checking , they replied it was slated as just a delivery. I immediately called the store and was answered by CAS again. I told him that this is not what we had been told by TAD at the time of purchase and that we would have paid the difference but that this again put me in a bind as I did not expect to now have to pack and assemble everything ourselves. I asked about this and relayed that TAD was the store manager but was off both days I called in. CAS told me he was going to make a call and he would call me back. When he called back he stated he spoke with the area manager and get the fee amount for install taken off the balance as a refund. I told him I appreciate that even though it was an inconvenience. He told me he would speak with TAD about the other issue of the non notification and that I could also call in when TAD returned to the store. We have not heard from them. We went from very pleased with the service we received to extremely disappointed with the entire situation. At this point I would not recommend this location or Mattress Firm to others.

Tom is just the best! He was so kindhearted, willing to listen to our needs, so knowledgeable about every bed and making sure we got the best deal he could offer us! He didn’t push us on buying anything and gave us so much helpful information about choosing the right mattress, he made our mattress shopping experience so wonderful and easy, I would recommend everyone to visit this store and let Tom help you to find your next prefect mattress!
