If you love paying to see your loved ones, trash overflowing, damaged utilities, and so much more this sad excuse of an apartment complex has to offer, you’ll find no better spot than inlet bay. Put a sock in it “help” team, we are well aware of how much you don’t care after reading these brutal reviews.

Our experience has been okay for the past couple of years, but things have been getting worse recently. The new paid parking system and trash issues have been really horrible the past few months. My friends and family have to pay to visit, which is absolutely ridiculous. I have also had frustrations with the valet trash not picking up until extremely late or not at all on days that they are scheduled, allowing raccoons to make huge messes that we have to clean up. The internet is also extremely unreliable, and has been out for days at a time- I had no problem when it was our own Spectrum setup, but this gigstreem stuff seems so unnecessary. Lastly, the gate literally NEVER works. Like, we’ve been here for a few years and, no exaggerating, it’s been broken more than not. If we’re paying for safety, I expect safety.

I’ve lived here for only a couple months. The complaints people have left are valid, but don’t bother me much as I keep to myself, don’t have visitors, and stay away from the ugly trash pile that builds up. My main complaint as of right now is the fact that they are charging me $45 for TWO DAYS of electricity due to me signing my lease on a weekend and was unable to get the electric in my name until Monday as from moving from out of state, Duke doesn’t allow for a new account setup online- you have to call and they aren’t open on weekends. I know corporate leasing offices are money hungry and I mean this one is no different with making visitors pay to park or forcing residents to pay for an internet service that barely ever works- but this is especially ridiculous. I’ve been defending this place to people left and right saying it’s not as bad as the reviews say and now I regret it. It’s not necessarily a bad place to live, but definitely save yourself the stress from living under the roof of a corporation that only cares about money. I’m so incredibly disappointed because the people I interacted with seemed kind, but I guess they only care about petty nickel and diming. Don’t move here. They want your money and that’s it.

Do not move here, and if you do move here, do not invite guests to visit you here. Not only will they steal your money, they will steal your visitor’s car as well.
I am not a resident at Inlet Bay, however, I am here for the next few days visiting my best friend who does reside here. You can read below about the woes he has had with his air conditioning. This review is not about his AC. It is about how, after I paid a 4-day visitors parking fee ($40), I woke up this morning to find my car towed, even though I know I was parked in a visitor spot. Upon arriving at the tow company, I tried to contact Inlet Bay, except no one answers the office phone during business hours. The tow company then proceeded to charge me $500 to retrieve my car, even though I had done everything correctly - I paid the visitors permit fee and parked in a visitors spot.
This taught me an invaluable lesson. At any chance, UDM and Inlet Bay will conspire to steal your money, your sanity, and your car, all at the same time. Do not move here.
PS: on top of all that, because of his AC issues, we are still sitting in a boiling apartment. Again, do not move here.

Avoid at all costs. It’s a poorly managed apartment complex, with an extremely slow and unreliable maintenance crew. If you would like to live in a place with a perfectly working AC, look elsewhere.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!
Trash everywhere even though we pay for trash pick up, privacy gate doesn’t work, parking situation is insane!!! I’ve had my car towed and it cost over $450 to get out. The management is so hard to get ahold of. They simply ignore phone calls and email request. Paying almost $2,000 for rent and any guest I have to pay $10 to even park in the parking lot. Absolutely crazy.

Your visitors have to pay for parking to visit you. You have to use GigStream wifi that is an additional charge that is aweful. And the garbage issue is disgusting, make sure you do not get an apt by the garbage area you will have to deal with viewing garbage everywhere, the smell and racoons.

Zero stars!!!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! Absolute worst place I’ve ever rented from. It’s disgusting trash is always overflowing by the dumpster into the road every day!! I’ve been without water for day before. They ripped my apartment apart multiple times because it’s so old and outdated. THE PICTURES ONLINE ARE VERY DECEIVING….. This place is Disgusting. Oh also if you have any guest, they have to pay $10 every day to park In visitor parking!! I wouldn’t live here for free.. Please take my word for it and never rent here also very overpriced for the dump it is….Also it’s gated and I’ve lived here for two years sadly and I think the gate might’ve worked for one month so anyone can drive in and out of here and take whatever they want…
If you want mold, mosquitoes, days without water, no gas for the grills, trash overflowing out of the dumpster… Trash all down the stairs from raccoons, 10$ guest parking and everyone that lives here complaining all about the same stuff I’d say move here…

BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***ZERO STARS
UDR bought out my property in Frisco Teaxs so it made sense that I would try and rent again with them because I did not have any major issues with them. I made my first mistake to apply and pay the admin and application fee then started to read all the negative and bad reviews not for just these apartments but anything that UDR owns in the Tampa area. After reading so many bad reviews I decidd to cancel my application. Where there came my second problem. I tried to cancel within 24 hrs and I could not speak to 1 employee with the property. Oneone is ever available to speak to in person or phone. I tried serveral times. Afetr about 1 week a manager named Brett finally responded to one of my many emails and asked why did I want to cancel. I then explained wy. He said would you like to talk so I can assure you of the corrective action we havetaken on all of our bad reviews. I told him I was not interested. He then said he will cancel and I will at least receive my admin fee and have it returned to me. One week goes by I get a statement with billing. Who knows who thet are bebecause they take 3 business days to resopond to any emails and says I will not get any money refunded. I pleaded with them and showed proof of what the manager said they do not care. I will never give them a dime ever again and I suggest you dont either. Read all the bad reviews of customer service plus, ac issues and bugs plus trash issues. Please do not rent here!!!!!!

What started as a small leak that they said they couldn’t do anything about has now turned into a Catastrophe . This how they have us living my wife and kids we are down to one bathroom because they won’t come fix our ceiling that has now collapsed we’ve been up to the leasing office multiple times asking when will they be coming to fix it, we keep getting the run around. These apartments aren’t anywhere near worth $2000+ a month wouldn’t recommend these to anyone

Everyone else’s complaints about paying for parking, gigistream internet cost, mold, racoons, AC not working, and leaks and a warped and broken ceiling, ARE ALL VALID, But my number one complaint is this….
There is a water spout (irrigation system) near our side window that KEEPS shooting water out for 5-7 mins at a time. the water blasts our window soo forcefully that the water comes in and spills onto our floors. We let the leasing office know, they said they will call maintenance…. they didnt seem to show any real concern about it. And now Its happened again. 10pm I had to get out of bed and put towels on my window seal and on the floor until it was done shooting out the water, and then mop, again. i just renewed a lease and i sure do wish that i hadnt at this point. For 2k a month we expect better.
….also everytime rains it smells like SULFER. its disgusting. Idk if its the ponds or the swamp like water behind the apartments.
Oh and one last thing… Our Ceiling has been leaking all week and it finally caved in. A maintenance man came to check on it days ago and gave an estimate of how much it will cost the leasing office and no one has called me to schedule the repairs. SMH

decent value apartment complex, have to give 2 stars due to the horrible Internet provided here. $70 a month for a Gigstreem and it is the worst internet service provider on the market. consistent outages and poor bandwidth. It's a dealbreaker if you are a remote worker. Now having to pay even MORE to get internet with a different ISP. I'm willing to give 4, maybe 5 stars if UDR can remove Gigstreem and the $70 charge off the monthly cost.

Customer service here is always bad but it's worst now. There is a new Arab looking dude that works here now, he is lacking Customer service skills. It's horrible. I'm not sure where the company is getting these people but they need to get their act together and hire better staff.
