charged 180 dollar diagnostic fee to hold my bike for a month, switch out the oem fuel filter with one that had the wrong angle, then forget that they did it. eventually gave the bike back after not being able to figure out what was keeping gas from getting to the engine.
when they returned the bike, they made no mention of changing the fuel filter and it was missing an obvious panel.
i don’t blame the shop for not being able to figure out what was continuing to keep it from riding, but keeping that diagnostic fee while losing oem parts was really lame.
what’s good is that i learned how to get all the way in and figure stuff out! i genuinely wanted to have a better experience trusting my bike to a local shop. two stars because their communication was great and i believe they wanted to figure it out.

Alex (& all the guys at Gorilla Tek) is amazing. My Volvo was in a sad state and he kept it running. During Covid, when it was nearly impossible to get parts, he somehow worked miracles. He's honest, his pricing is very fair, he goes above and beyond, and he's truly a nice guy. I've since purchased a new car but I will go back to him in a heartbeat when the need arises. I i always recommend Gorilla Tek when someone needs automotive work!

1) I recently have purchased a 2004 R1. Wasn't really sure what was going on with. It took it to these guys and I got to say I am beyond pleased with their service and knowledge. Quick Turn around. They definitely Have a client for life through me. I most definitely recommend them a hundred and ten percent! Thank you.
2nd trip) So my bike was stolen lucky to have gotten it back unfortunately it was wrecked. So I took it back the the guys and I gotta say they went above and beyond my expectations. The guys are Personable and knowledgeable and do a one word I would muslim definitely bring my bike here again and I recommend them to anybody and everybody else that has any problems with their bikes.

I called the top 10 places on google, and while my husband booked an appointment with the forst person i spoke with THIS is where i wanted him to go. It was a little bit more for a rush job then we coild do this time, but they answered. The person i spoke with was super helpful, and honest. I feel like he could tell it wasnt my bike i was asking about, and he offered options and knowledge. Procing is fair even when youre in a rush. Nobody else offered this lond of information. IF they answered at all. This is the ONLY 5 star review of all 10 of them. Im sorry i cant remember your name to get you praised, but im the female who called about the 2013 victory boardwalk whos back tire had belts showing. Whoever helped me needs a raise and we will definitely be calling to replace then (in advance) next time. Thank you so much for taking the time and giving me options NOBODY ELSE DID THAT! and even the place my husband chose gave me a higher price then they gave him, telling me they were banking on me knowing NOTHING. Saturdays and sundays we ride wirh a big group, ill be sharing this place with all the old schools!

Amazing local family owned shop. They went the extra mile to make sure my new Suzuki cruiser was fully service and up to date. Also helped me take the baffles out of my exhaust so it has an amazing sound now. Next step is a proper tune and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it. 10/10 recommend to all fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.

Great Shop, took my little Yammy Vstar in for a new chain and sprockets and oil change, they made my ride like new! Very happy with them, Highly Recommend this place! Even stopped me from using the wrong oil in my bike ...this will be my service shop for all my work! Thanks Gorilla Guys!

You absolutely can NOT go wrong by having your bike and / or car repaired at this place.
Every time I call and go in for a repair, they take extraordinary care of my bike. I always feel like family and well taken care of.
What impresses me most is that they don't seem to be focused on money. Instead, they seem to be more focused on quality repairs and keeping riders safe while they're on the road.
I came back from out of state to get my bike fixed. Amazing group of guys, and outstanding business sense.
I HIGHLY recommend that anybody looking for quality repairs take your bike to Gorilla Tech in St Pete.

Big waist of money charged me $160 for a diagnostic fee waited a week for them to tell me stupid stuff like i was gonna need a rear tire soon never found the problem i dropped it off for (kept popping a code and losing throttle response) thinking it was miscommunication I explained why it was there and what i needed fixed they proceeded to change relays for my radiator fans and charge me witch i wouldnt have cared if they atleast reached out first before proceeding to cost me money so another week goes by when i called to see if they found out what was going on they told me nothing new besides i owed them $260 for two more hours of them trying to figure it out in the end i just went and got my bike and was out of pocket $420 for absolutely nothing besides a $26 relay definitely would not recommend any friends to gorilla tek after seeing how they run a shop i wouldnt them work on my lawnmower stay far away also told they work hand and hand with tampa elite so beware
