I had a very disappointing experience at the poker room due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the floor managers when they kicked me out for vaping. While I understand the need to enforce rules and I was warned once for vaping earlier in the night, and he caught me again later(It was purely unintentional and I didn't do it on purpose) when I was heading out of the establishment for a small break. Saying things like " I am the boss here" was not needed--the way this particular floor manager handled the situation was unnecessarily rude and seemed more about satisfying his EGO than maintaining a professional environment. As a business owner myself, I appreciate the importance of following rules, and I would have left without issue if asked respectfully. I was not trying to cause any problems and apologized mutiple times. However, the manner in which he spoke to me and his apparent abuse of power were unacceptable. I've seen other patrons receive multiple warnings for different infractions over the years, but in my case, he seemed intent on making an example out of me. This type of management is detrimental to any business, and I believe this individual is not suited for his role. His behavior risks driving customers away and ultimately harming the reputation and success of the establishment.
As I mentioned above, I own multiple businesses across Tampa & have over 50 employees work under me and I would never have any of my managers or employees treat my customers like this. I was very shocked the way this issue was handled and would like to speak to the upper management about this.

Decent variety and quantity of table games. Other options as well. Great dealers and friendly company. This is definitely my first choice for poker rooms.

It's no palace, but the felt is green and the tables not too tight. Play can be loose. Definitely possible to make money without being a pro. Lot of dealers have worked there a while. Worth a stop in.

Every time Alexis Winning comes around, she perfumes the air with a putrid, and rancid odor. She needs to see a specialist. It's off-putting to be assaulted by such a smell, especially when you're trying to focus on poker. There seems to be evil forces in this room, and I suspect that Alexis Winning practices witchcraft. She's cast a spell on her bosses, making them falsely believe that she is competent, and good for the business. I hope they see the light, soon, fire her, and restore order for their customers.

Win! Derby (Derby Lane) is such a great cardroom. It's really a must-see for anyone visiting or new to the area. They have so many friendly, down-to-Earth people. Good food. Relaxed atmosphere. Great location. If you're lucky, you'll meet Andrew. What a great personality. Very engaged, quick-witted, and just great at what he does. Fantastic experience.
