Says open at 9am on weekdays but been sitting here for 42 minutes it's now 9:40 still not open. What happened to businesses honoring the door time?

My 10yr/old needed a phone but I wasn't going to shell out $500+ at the name brand stores. Walked into Cricket got her top of the line smart phone, number, protection plan and screen saver for $180. No contracts $60/mo unlimited. Took 15mins from hello to to her texting mom. Thinking about switching myself now.
