Do not trust dealer inspection. A 16 point inspection and oil change was done in 15 minutes. I indicated that I was traveling and wanted to make sure car was in good shape. He provided an inspection noting all tires were in good shape and nothing was needed. See photo of inspection. They could not fully handle some of the repairs needed so I took to another shop. Redid the inspection since there was no charge and concerned at how quickly the initial inspection was. Turns out 2 tires were fully worn with indication bars fully visible (see photos). Inspection done at dealer 30 minutes earlier said tread was 7 for each tire (see inspection).Normally would be willing to pay premium dealer prices thinking that a minimum level of service to ensure car could be safely driven. How wrong I was. Concerned if I would have been at risk for blown out tire(s) for a 600 mile road trip. Buyer beware!

Worst service experience of all time. After calling the parts department about a buy 3 get 1 tire free special they advertised to find out the individual tires at Dayton Andrews Jeep were overpriced at $533 per tire when Tirerack.com sold them for $476 a piece I decided to order from Tirerack. The parts manager stated they would't price match and I could NOT ship the tires to them, but I could bring them in if I bought them on Tirerack which I did on pure principal of savings. Fast forward to today when I loaded 5 x 35" (standard tires for a 4x4 lifted jeep like they sell all day in their lot) and while unloading the service advisor starts asking questions about what kind of rims do you have....well 20" the normal size for these tires I answered (again like all of the lifted jeeps in your lot)....starting to get a little annoyed as I felt he was almost questioning whether or not he was going to mount them. Well...he walks inside to a Service Director and comes back saying we won't mount the tires as we are worried about scratching your rims and the liability? Ok you don't know how to mount the most popular tire size on a lifted jeep...right. Meanwhile I was about to spend about $3000 fixing other things on the Jeep there and was turned around with the most insane denial I have ever seen. If your parts people are allowing me to buy and hand deliver the same tires that you currently have sitting in your parts shop (I saw them) I don't understand your issue. Yet you would have mounted the same tire had I bought them from you. You lost $150 on the tire sale so you want to lose $3000 on a jeep service and then lose all of my future jeep business? Seriously. You guys are bad at business...really bad. Worst customer service I have seen in my 30 years owning cars. Will be going elsewhere for service and would recommend to any who are considering this place to reconsider. Waste of absolute time. Now that I see all of the one star call outs and bad reviews on this place and on Stewart, the service advisor who denied me, I can see the complete issue. Bad just bad.

i just want to leave a review after seeing so many negative ones i was worried. i took my car in to service an oil change it was quick and Joe was very helpful. He let me know of other issues he saw while looking at my dash that he could help with. also let me know if a recall and i made a second appointment to get those issues resolved. it did take a little longer than expected due to a power outage. they offer a free shuttle service if you need to be dropped off or picked up which was very helpful! Joe was very helpful and communicative. i definitely recommend after my experience.

This location has the type of experienced scammers that when you go in for a job covered under insurance they will make sure you leave with problems you didn’t have when the insurance company inspected it on arrival. The mechanics know what will not be covered by your insurance and use this to get extra jobs and put people in tougher situations than they came in with. This shop is also significantly pricier for the same work we got quoted for in at least 5 other auto shops in the area. Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to get scammed out of your money. It doesn’t matter what evidence you have they will of course say it wasn’t their mechanics who had your car all month long.

Oh, don't get me started on this pathetic excuse for a car dealership! I recently had the misfortune of bringing my car there, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The employees were a bunch of incompetent buffoons who couldn't even manage basic communication.First, my service advisor seemed to think it was acceptable to keep me in the dark about the cost and the status of my car. I had to beg for updates like I was asking for a favor. And when I inquired about the parts being delivered, it was like pulling teeth to get any sort of coherent response. And let's not forget about the front desk lady. She was about as helpful as a rock. Her incompetence matched the rest of the staff's, as she seemed clueless about basic customer service. The lack of professionalism was astounding.Overall, this dealership is a prime example of how not to run a business. The employees are inept, communication is nonexistent, and customer service is a foreign concept to them. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this dump. They don't deserve your time or money! The Jeep dealership in Tampa on Dale Mabry is probably more expensive, but it will save you daily headaches.

How exactly do these people stay in business 10 years ago I tried buying a Jeep here. Although I knew I would owe on my current car and was ok with it, they wouldn't even show me anything. Later that day, I returned with the new Jeep I bought from another dealership. Fast forward to this past weekend and my partner is interested in a Jeep. We park and are looking at options. A salesperson approaches us and my partner says what he it's interested in. The sales guy says he'll go grab keys. We wait and wait and finally see he's taking a smoke break. Next!

My wife's 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 20k miles had the transmission blow out. It is under factory warranty, so no worries... I thought.... After bringing it in to Dayton Andrew's in St Petersburg, the service advisor Stuart Fishman tells us that the transmission is on back order for weeks.. and we are on our own for a car... no loaner because he says it's a used car... but aren't all the cars that come in here used? I was able to get 7 days rental through the extended warranty I paid for outside of Jeep... and he was able to get 5 days... that's great and all... but he kept taking credit for getting me 12 days of rental.. and then.. after the car being there for 3 weeks... he says we are on our own for a vehicle, and he will not help us anymore... Stuart was rude... talked down to us throughout this process, and is extremely unprofessional! He kept bragging to me the fact he was a GM of many dealerships.... Which I find hard to believe. Bottom line is this... According to Stuart Fishman, Jeep does not stand behind their vehicles, and definitely not their customers. Dayton Andrew's Chrysler Jeep Dodge in St Petersburg is absolutely horrible!! If you are looking to do business with them, I recommend you find another dealership that cares about customers and stand behind their product!

Scam shop. Told us we need to replace and flush every single fluid and replace 10 month old calipers. When I asked why they couldn't give any kind of reason. Yet still charged diagnosing fee. Will be going to the attorney general.

Adam has been hands on with communication. He was forthcoming about damage, repairs needed and potential time frame to complete work. I highly recommend Adam for service and Dayton Andrew's in general.

I have never written a negative review, but unfortunately I have no other recourse. If you have any intention of having service performed at Dayton Andrews in St. Pete, think again and go somewhere else. All service done on my Ram 1500 has been at Ram dealerships and since 2018, any and all repairs, general maintenance, warranty related issues and recall services have all been performed by Dayton Andrews in St. Pete ONLY. We have been loyal customers for several years now.In April 2022, we had a repair done one our coolant system. We had numerous conversations during this repair with our service rep. including asking him if our warranty covered this work. We were told that this work was not covered by the warranty, $3,200 later, our truck was repaired and we paid this bill when we picked up the truck. When asked what caused this problem, we were told "just normal maintenance". Nothing unusual was ever discussed.Last month, while visiting family in Georgia, we had to take the truck to a dealership nearby. The GA technician came across our previous service invoice for the repair work done at Dayton Andrews in April and reported to us that the work we were charged $3200 for was actually covered under our warranty and we should not have been charged for the repair work. He stated that he could not fix this and we had to go back to Dayton Andrews to have them put the service through the warranty and we should get our money back.I immediately contacted our service rep at Dayton Andrews. He looked up the repair, and our warranty, and apologized saying that the technician in Georgia was right. He told us that we should not have been charged for the work completed in April. He told us that he had to check with his manager to see how to get our money back and he was to get back to us within 24 hours. We were ghosted for 5 days. I left multiple messages for the service rep to connect with me. When I did finally hear from him, he left a voice mail that did not make sense stating that they did not honor the warranty in April as the repair technician claimed our truck had a non-factor part. This was never mentioned during numerous lengthy conversations with him at the time of service. Our service repair summary and invoices lists the cause of our issue as normal wear and tear maintenance, nothing is mentioned about a non factory part. We called our service rep back to discuss his message and we have not heard back from him.I called the service manager and left a message. I have sent numerous emails to Mike Bloomfield, Service Manager, Ron Meany, Director of Operations, and Keith Donahue, General Sales Manager, I have yet to receive even a rudimentary reply from anyone to our request for our refund.Dayton Andrews is the only service department to perform any significant repair work on our vehicle. Prior to this incident, no work was done on the coolant system. We have spoken to the dealership that we bought the car from who states that there is no way a non factory part was on the truck when we bought it. That dealership has all the records of service prior to us going to Dayton Andrews. We have tried to give Dayton Andrews the benefit of the doubt that an honest mistake was made. If the management was responding to our emails or phone calls we would believe that this was an honest mistake, but they have not. The lack of response from management makes it clear that management would rather lie than address the situation fairly and ethically. Do not make the mistake of doing business with Dayton Andrews.
