The amount of hassle we have gone through to trade in our truck and buy a bronco is astounding. I can't believe the lies and lack of follow through. I wish i had gone somewhere else. The sales department kept telling me that they would sell me a brand new car but they couldn't because it was on a loaner program. That means somebody brought in a car to be repaired and they let them drive the car they wanted to sell me. It wasn't even on the lot. Then the car i actually did buy was not registered in my name for over a week because they said it had to also be released from some rental program!!! What the heck???! Anyone else fought this???

I went in cause my F150 was having a problem with the ignition starter working intermittently. I agreed to the $195 diagnostic fee. After this they said I needed a new starter. The cost was going to be $695 plus parts and fees. I looked up online and the average cost including labor was around $400. Didn't matter to them and I had no other option at this point. In the end I paid $1,000 for a new starter switch. Makes me sick to my stomach.

We had a recall on a 2017 Focus. We brought our car in, and they had it for a week before diagnosed that it was, in fact, covered. We had nothing but trouble even trying to speak with someone. From this point, we had to wait 2 more days for the parts. Once we arrived to pick up the car we discovered they cracked our windshield. The service manager promised to order a new one and install it. We waited a week, and after not being able to speak to anyone on the phone, we returned. That prompted them to order the windshield. They told us to bring the car back Monday night, and they would install it on Tuesday. Guess what, it's Wednesday, and they car IS not done. WHAT A JOKE!!!

Great customer service and work. I had my 20,000 mile check done on my Mach E here and it was a great experience overall!

I brought in my own check from navy federal and they ran my credit anyway, through another credit union so i would have to pay a down payment. And to top that off the car was infested with roaches. After all of that you would think the service would improve. They don't deserve service

he Service Department at Autonation St. Petersburg has never been my favorite, but my last experience takes the cake. I brought my truck in for a known issue with my model. There is a Customer Service Program (Extended Warranty) for this issue. I told them when I dropped it off what the problem was, and they told me that they would still have to diagnose it. Fifty-three hours later and zero returned phone calls They still hadn't looked at my truck. I'm out $100 for car rental fees. Furman Ford, Clearwater here I come.

Won't be back after my last two experiences here. Drop off is frustrating because you're waiting for your assigned person to check you in, even though there may be several others standing around. Waited over 20 minutes watching others morning chat and coffee before my assigned person checked me in. Pick up just as bad as you're expected to know who and where your service advisor is and wander around until you recognize someone. During my second visit I was instructed to use night/early drop box even though it was still business hours. This prevented direct communication about the service which was needed. No one helps. The actual service was bad too. A couple days after an oil change, I noticed the hood seemed out of alignment on one side. Found a hammer that had been left under the hood which was preventing it from closing properly. After a laborious recall process, they kept the car all week and I know they hadn't even looked at it until the end of the first day. Communication was terrible (and text only) and I needed to check daily on status. One excuse after another and I was told that I had been told that it would take a couple days which was simply not true. When I was finally able to pick up the car after a full week, it had a wad of twisty ties on the dash. Days later I found the console storage cubby liner under the seat and the decorative trim around the shift lever had not been attached properly. All related to the recall service. Clearly management and process problems here as both customer service and car repairs were bad. Update: Wow! I just hand washed the car for the first time since having it serviced here which included a tire rotation. Both valve stem caps on the passenger side are missing. Could've been stolen in the month since service, but doubtful based on all of the other issues here due to indifference and//or incompetence. Unbelievable!

Salesmen - Stephen and Mico were awesome. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about the vehicles they are offering. I purchased a used 2021 F150 FX4 ( Great Truck ) wife loves it. Easy purchase , From test drive to signing on the bottom line - in and out in just a few hours. Great experience.

I was there to buy a F150 lightning. Great staff. Did not feel any pressure and everything was explained well in the purchase agreement.

DO NOT USE - UNTRUSTWORTHY!I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire balance. I was told that I didn't need my tires balanced but that I needed brakes, rotors and brake lines...for a 5 year old vehicle with 41,000 miles. They also informed me that my vehicle was unsafe to drive and that I could use their corporate discount to rent a car for $42/day. I passed on that offer and told them to order the parts and let me know when they were in so that I could schedule an appointment to have them installed. This was going to take place AFTER they showed me my brakes, rotors and brake lines. I called three days later to check on the status of my parts. No one could or would answer my question and the only person that called me back was the parts guy. He stated that no parts were order for my vehicle but if they were ordered from another dealership, it wouldn't show. With my concerns for actually needing these parts, I took my vehicle to a reputable mechanic for him to inspect and an estimate if it was necessary. The mechanic told me that I did not need brakes, rotors or brake lines and that they balanced my tires...fixing the minor issue I had.I went back to the dealership and spoke with the General Manager. He pretty much brushed it off and defended his tech. Thank goodness for honest mechanics, saved me over $1,300.

BAIT AND SWITCHED MY WARRANTY - Lied straight to my face!!!Bought a truck there with a full warranty pkg.Maintenance plan, tire warranty, appearance warranty and a 72 month extended service plan.Salesman Fatone went radio silent after the sale. Issue with the tags and he didn’t return our calls.QUAZI HOSSAIN sold me their Autonation warranty when I specifically asked for the Ford warranty. I was very specific about what I wanted in a warranty and the Autonation warranty is not what I asked for. He assured me that the warranty I purchased was exactly what I asked for. QUAZI HOSSAIN IS A LIAR.QUAZI HOSSAIN BAITED ME WITH THE FORD WARRANTY AND SWITCHED MY WARRANTY TO THE AUTONATION WARRANTY.When I brought it to BRUCE HEATH’s attention, he LIED to my face and said he would switch the warranty over to Premium Care at no cost to me.I was out of town when I found out that BRUCE HEATH LIED about changing the warranty. Imagine my surprise when my deductible went from $100 to $200 because of the Autonation warranty. When confronted again, BRUCE HEATH CONTINED TO BLAME OTHERS for his failure and has not made things right! BRUCE HEATH IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD!I avoid going to this Autonation dealer . They put new meaning to the term “schiester”.Quazi Hossain is the little guy in the finance department who did the original BAIT AND SWITCH.He KNEW what warranty we wanted but switched it to the Autonation version and didn’t tell us. He’s a little rat that can’t be trusted! They also put the start date of the warranty as 6 years prior to the sale and have refused to correct this.I travel for a living and would never buy a warranty that is locked in to their company.THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT THE WARRANTY THEY SOLD ME AND HAVE REFUSED TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION!!!

PETER SIMS is outstanding. Called into the dealership with an issue and wasn't able to get a hold of the initial salesperson (even with 2x follow up email) and was connected with Peter. Immediately he was able to assist on resolving the issue and went above and beyond. He was kind and caring, made something so frustrating so simple. Highly recommend him!
