This store had an odor to it that is very unappealing.Tons of fresh produce with a wide variety of hard to find items, some were fresh and some was not overly fresh. Lots of flies.Lots of spices, including ethic’s.Restrooms definitely need cleaned.Employees were extremely rude!!!!!!, Most do not speak English and are NOT willing to help if you are white.Parking is a major issue!!!I would never recommend nor will I ever return.I despise racism and it is very apparent at this establishment.Spaces are very limited and tight, making them difficult to access with larger vehicles.

Do we really have to leave a star? This place is horrible. The meat in the back freezer is all expired and rotten. The cheese had mold and expired so the price was 2.30 obviously because it’s expired. I asked for toast and had to walk out because I’ve seen one of the employees in the kitchen scratching her nose with the gloves on, wiping them on her apron and then continued grabbing the bread. This place needs the health departament should checking this out. My daughter got very sick sent to the ER after eating her ordered food because she was very specific when she said make sure you don’t mix my meat with the shrimps, the lady who is short, a little heavy and blue or green eyes used the same spatula to serve the rice. My daughter broke up in hives and had to run to school he hospital .These are some of the issues with this place . I can keep mentioning all the violations that the health department should look into. When you bread don’t think is fresh because it’s not, it’s old and they sell the leftover bread in the morning until the afternoon. Then is when they add the new bread. You don’t touch everything around including the register with your gloves the same one you use to serve and handle food, to blow your nose . Common man. It’s is very dirty to eat here because they are not clean at all. Something has to be done because the neighbors in St. Cloud are getting sick and some have complained about food poisoning.Something for the department of health to look into.Honestly Bravo and Sédanos is a lot better, cheaper and CLEAN!!!!!So St. Cloud let’s get this place inspected asap and anyone who has experienced the same problems, let’s make sure it gets documented. Or they clean or should close PERIOD!!!!Nasty place, you will get sick and almost everyone is overpriced

I drove to St Cloud to purchase something no other stores carried. I used to live in St Cloud, and can't say enough good things about this store and the people working there. GREAT PLACE TO SHOP!

I don’t know what has happened to this place! It has really went down hill! I used to frequent this place several times a week for lunch and several times a month to purchase grocery items. They have really went downhill…DRASTICALLY! It is disappointing to see how much they have raised their prices at the deli counter while removing items from the combos. You no longer receive plantains w/ your meal, which is included in just about every combo in every Caribbean/Puerto Rican deli and restaurant and food truck within a 500 mile radius so I’m not certain why they raised their prices and then removed this common staple. Especially considering how dirt cheap plantains are! I paid extra so that I could get my plantains and they were so horrible. They didn’t taste anything like any Plantano Maduros I have ever had in my life. They tasted like someone took a days old worth of leftover Tostones and threw them in brown sugar. They were awful! Their rotisserie chicken is so dry and tasteless the last three times I’ve purchased it both my children and I’ve choked on it. It hardly has any flavor at all anymore. When you get the stewed chicken they now give you as little as meat as possible, I’m sorry I don’t mind paying increased prices but the quality and amount need to return to the way they were all these years. With all the wonderful Puerto Rican restaurants and stores in the area they really need to get their act together as not to lose business! I for one will stick w/Pollo to Go who continues to serve excellent food with high-quality at a reasonable price. I am so disappointed as Thrifty has been one of our favorites for years, but after this last time, which was about the fifth time I either shopped there or had delivery we will stay away until they revamp their business. This used to be one of my favorite places to go. when it started to go downhill, I gave it a few months and then gave it another try only to find that things have gotten absolutely worse! I’m only giving 2 stars bc their bakery items remain half way decent!~A Former Loyal Customer

It is always a pleasure to shop there, but since I do it constantly, one errs on the side of not writing a review. The place was always clean, organized and the staff was helpful, but I thought this was nice: A few weeks ago my dad was hospitalized, and I went every day to buy breakfast for him and my sister. They were difficult days, and one day when I arrived at the hospital and took out the bags, the girl had written to me: "Nice day" on the food bags. It is details like these that manage to turn the tables on your bad day, and make you smile. Thank you!
