Second time to this location, will be my last. I always make an appointment and the wait time after the appointment time is 45 minutes and up. What's the point of an appointment. If I was 45 minutes late I would not get service. This location is not efficient and clearly not run right. They allow walk ins which is great, but not so great when they take them in opposed to those with an appointment.

St. Cloud, FL. Five stars for Milo, an excellent and efficient phlebotomist. Wait time good, even with no appointment. Waiting area: old, clean and spartan. Quest checkin kiosks: abysmal.
“Appointments made by phone cannot be looked up.” I did make an online appointment by iPhone the night before. I took the last 6:00 am appointment available. I arrived at 5:45 am and there were already about six cars in the parking lot.
Around 5:50 am the doors opened. As I walked in a man held the door and I gestured he could check in at the kiosk ahead of me. He said he’d already checked in on his phone. Note to self: figure out how to do that.
There are two kiosks to the left of the entrance in the lobby. The lobby has about 15 chairs around the perimeter. There is no checkin window, just a door that periodically opens and a staff person calls out the next client’s name or makes an announcement.
I used the kiosk to check in. It’s touch screen, with a scanning mechanism below the screen for your photo ID and insurance card. You enter your phone number for the system to locate your appointment. So I did that. Then I got the message that “Appointments made by phone cannot be looked up.” What??!! “There are no more appointments available at this location. Would you like to be put on the waiting list?”
Well, because I got there at O-dark-thirty I was the only one in line so I sighed and resigned myself to a long wait.
After about 5 minutes a staff person looked out and told us we’d need to have our ID and insurance card and doctor’s order, as needed. Seeing a live staff person, I said I’d made the appointment on my iPhone so the system couldn’t look up my appointment. I was told they’d need to see my confirmation email. Quest never sent my confirmation email, just an email for the code to access the system. Not sure what happened there, but I was sure I’d done all the steps to make an appointment. In any case I was on the wait list so I sat back down.
After that it was another few minutes when I heard my name called. Milo (long brown hair) took me back to the second room on the right and looked up my doctor on the PC. Milo was pleasant and calm and called me “dear,” and had done probably hundreds of good blood draws. When someone is professional and relaxed I relax too and Milo was professional and relaxed.
And I was back to my car before the sun was even up.

Been here more than once and no issues at all. Today I was that first zombie patient and Sue was very friendly and helpful.

The service is terrible, there is never a person to clarify doubts for patients who have doubts with the system when checking in or any other question. Taking into account that there are many older adults. They never answer the phone and when they do answer, it takes a thousand years to send the results via fax or email. There are only two phlebotomists for so many patients. Waiting times are long even if you have an appointment. The bathrooms are terribly ugly. Zero stars.

Taking the human element out of the lobby is a horrible choice. Service is always slow no matter if you have an appointment or not. And the lobby is always packed. If you ask why they get defensive and its always the same answer of being understaffed (which im starting to believe is just a cop out). Always leaving annoyed and upset. Do better.

I was scared of all the reviews but I got my appointment online, got a confirmation for my calendar, showed up 15min early, checked in on the kiosk, there was 1 other person waiting and was called in 5min later. They were very helpful and patient with my kids.
My appointment was around 2:30p on a Monday.
