Always fresh and tastes great and home cooked. The prices are very reasonable and there is always a large selection. 2 people can share 1 combo easily at least have leftovers for later for 1 for under $10.”

“Impromptu stop in. First time.Passed it literally hundreds of times. I like gizzards and thought it was worth a try.Man, I could kick myself; these gizzards are slamming! Cooked while I waited (about 10 minutes). I’ve had gizzards from quite a few places… Rogers Food Store is now in my top 5, probably top 3. The cook, seasoning and crispness was perfect.I will be back.Thanks guys!!!”

“You normally have good deals on meat, especially when you do the Bogo. But this last week, I went in, and you were charging double for the original meat package, so even if you did the bogo with it, it doesn't add up to be any kind of deal whatsoever. Corporations are making the prices, and it's proven that you guys are making profit records. Stop cheating the public. We are your customers and we can stop shopping at places. Especially places that are not being kind to their customers. Stop the insanity, and stop being the problem with society. Winn Dixie has a ways been a place that had good deals....but I see changes happening right in front of me that have no validity to why it's happening. Other than corporate greed.”

“From Michigan. We have Save A Lots there also. When I found out they were in Florida, I headed their way! Love the fresh cut meat shop and also like all of the normal things I need, and a few extras! Sales are great too!”
“Awesome place just got remodeled recently also looks and feels like a mini Walmart. It has things like food for any occasion and drinks. Even if you wanted you can buy things like gift cards, groceries, and even house supplies here. Awesome place and definitely recommend it.”
“They have an in house pharmacy, the people are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work and others. Checkout, the girls are very helpful when you need it. If your looking for anything in particular they are there to help. Remember fresh coffee is at the end of the checkout.”
“I should have got a riding cart the other day. By the time I finished shopping I was in a lot pain from my bad back. Everyone was so nice there. However when I got up to the register I met an angel. The bagger got my groceries out of the cart for me. This was such a relief because I didn't think I could bend any more. He let me push the cart to my car because it helped me make it there. Then he loaded the groceries in my car. He was so sweet and caring. I wish I got his name. He is an awesome employee and person. I will be back to the store because of him. Thank you so much!!!!”
“@ Alycia Millman I have been a coupon shopper at Dollar General for years and I’ve seen the store change hands quite a few times. The one thing I will say is out of all of the Dollar General in the area, This is by far the cleanest and the most friendliest staff. I’ve been to other Dollar General in the same town and been told by multiple employees that they don’t speak English. As far as the manager anytime I have gone in there he has been more than nice to both me and his employees. After reading this comment, I specifically asked his two employees yesterday how they liked their manager and both of them replied the same that he was a really nice guy so I’m not quite sure How you have this interaction with him yet 4 staff members have a different interaction with him. I spent on average four hours a week shopping at Dollar General and last Saturday when I was there I had a customer specifically ask for the manager by description and name. I believe his name was Stephen. They went on to talk to the employee about how nice he was and how they really enjoyed him. The employee not only agreed but said a few nice things about him as well. Perhaps you caught him on a day that he wasn’t his best or maybe he was just joking around as that is good for morale. I personally have only seen him be friendly, attentive and kind to not only his staff, but customers as well.”
