@ Alycia Millman I have been a coupon shopper at Dollar General for years and I’ve seen the store change hands quite a few times. The one thing I will say is out of all of the Dollar General in the area, This is by far the cleanest and the most friendliest staff. I’ve been to other Dollar General in the same town and been told by multiple employees that they don’t speak English. As far as the manager anytime I have gone in there he has been more than nice to both me and his employees. After reading this comment, I specifically asked his two employees yesterday how they liked their manager and both of them replied the same that he was a really nice guy so I’m not quite sure How you have this interaction with him yet 4 staff members have a different interaction with him. I spent on average four hours a week shopping at Dollar General and last Saturday when I was there I had a customer specifically ask for the manager by description and name. I believe his name was Stephen. They went on to talk to the employee about how nice he was and how they really enjoyed him. The employee not only agreed but said a few nice things about him as well. Perhaps you caught him on a day that he wasn’t his best or maybe he was just joking around as that is good for morale. I personally have only seen him be friendly, attentive and kind to not only his staff, but customers as well.

Normally with any other employees I have no problems with them, and I have a nice time shopping there. However there is this older man, possibly around his 40's and bald, he is absolutely rude to the customers and other employees. I think he may be the manager, as I have heard him mention before that he is to other people. Just today, my mother and I went to the store to grab some cold medicine. From when we first walked in there, he was constantly degrading and yelling at the other employee on shift, all the way until we left the store. Keep in mind he kept doing this as there was a line of customers trying to check out their items. The employee who was getting yelled at, we have never had a problem with him. He was always nice and enjoyed talking with the customers. I honestly feel bad for that employee for having to put up with the other guy. This is not the first time we have noticed the supposed 'manager' acting out on fellow employees and being very rude to other customers. I don't want to stop coming here, but I absolutely cannot stand going inside the store anymore with that so called manager there; if he even is the manager, so I'm sorry to the manager if that was not you. I get that there will always be people who don't get along with one another, but if they have any issues with one another, they need to sort it out privately, and not in front of a store full of customers. It is really bad for the business.

Horrible that you can’t even let customers use the restroom. At least be honest about it. For the past four years anytime I’ve been in there. They always say the bathroom is broken or there’s a water issue. Instead of having employees lie post a sign saying no restroom for public use. Either way it’s ridiculous a paying customer doesn’t have access to the restroom.

10 people on line and yes just one guy in the register when I ask if there is anyone else in the store his answer was no, I feel bad for this employee is not his fault you guys need to hired more people you guys want to do money without employees non sence

Got what we came for but I needed the restroom and sent my daughter for the key. She was told the restroom is not for public use. Uh ok I guess paying customers are the same as public. When checking out I told her we were in a hurry due to needing to use the restroom and they did not have one for us. She IGNORED that completely. That would have been the place to apologize.plenty of good dg we will skip this one. I believe in treat people the way you would like to be treated and when that doesn't happen I go elsewhere

At 245pm on Thursday the store is closed. No sign no nothing of why. Very bad customer service.

I don't even like giving this store 1 star. The manager ANGELA is so rude, impolite, nasty, doesn't answer you when you are speaking to her, curt and very unprofessional for a manager. Always has a big African American man leaning or laying up against the post or ground outside. The store is always out of something or old stock. Very unpleasant atmosphere!!!!

Upon entering one will be greeted by the lowest form of mess where the manager is more about her tight fitting spandex and taking her smoke break than even acknowledging the presence of human beings in the store. You will be made to climb around boxes and mess all while being ignored whilst you maintain an "I could use some help" earnest nonverbal posture. She'll be speaking loudly on her cellphone acting like she is actually getting "Much more than helping anyone" done in the store. What's better is that at checkout she will make people stand in line for another cashier while she takes personal calls standing at an open and fully functioning cash register. If she worked for me, I would send her packing on the spot. Avoid if possible and quite typical of hourly employees currently in Saint Cloud Florida.

Very rude employees. Lacking social skills obviously. Have never been treated so rudely by an employee at a Dollar General won't be back again. Which by her attitude she could care less.

This location is my local Dollar General store and I love it because they are always so clean and organized. Angela the manager is great!! She should be proud of her store!!

Don't go here if you like good customer service...although its very clean here the employees arent so great...they talk about customers and think i didn't hear it all...you should be ashamed talking about people...only good employee is the gentleman at night...the gm or whoever she is yells at customers and its not my problem she has to stock shelves...she literally tells people to wait that shes the only one working and she has to stock shelves...your attitude is disgusting!!!

This place is always fully stocked has friendly staff, is always clean, and the manager is very nice. I just wish the coupons on Saturdays worked better. Great store!
