We had a fantastic buying experience with Waylen Bay Marine. We purchased a 2023 Sea Fox and the staff made it about as painless as it gets to complete the process. Zach, our sales rep, was great to work with. Without even flinching at our difficult schedule, he adjusted his to show us the boat and even set up a sea trial that worked with our availability and location. I could tell by the way he showed us the vessel that Zach is an extremely knowledgeable salesman. He methodically took us through all the details of the boat, answering all of our questions along the way. The day we took our new boat home, Zach went through about as thorough of a delivery inspection as I could imagine and even spent some time helping me set up some of the boat’s electronics. He assisted with the trailer hook up and overall safety of me getting the boat from their yard out to the road. I don’t know how many more boats our family will be purchasing in the future, but I can guarantee that Waylen Bay would be our first stop for a future purchase. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a no-pressure, relaxed buying experience with an extremely thorough and knowledgeable staff.

I went to Waylen Bay because I knew exactly what I wanted, and they could get it for me. Because of this, the actual purchase was a breeze. Signed my papers and went back a week later to take delivery. I had an appointment with Cody, the sales guy who I dealt with. All of our dealings were via phone, text and email. When I arrived to pick up my boat I was told that Cody was wrapping up with another customer and would be with me in a few minutes. Fast forward a half hour Cody greets me and says he's busy, someone else will deliver my boat to me. The guy who showed me my boat knew nothing about it, and admitted so. The finish on my boat was damaged when he was showing me the bimini frame. He had no idea how it worked. He kept asking me if he needed to show me certain features. I felt he was rushing me through. The boat was dirty and had stains on a few of the seats which needed detailing. It was obvious that Cody did not have my purchase ready to be handed over to me. I hitched up my boat and was pointed out the back gate as the guy who delivered it to me walked off.3 weeks later, nobody has contacted me. No courtesy call to see if everything is OK or if I have any questions. Even a car dealer follows up with a customer. I feel that they made a quick sale and thats all this dealership cares about.I'm very pleased with my boat, but it is only because I knew exactly what I wanted. I did get what I wanted, but the guys running this place only care about the sale, not the people giving them the business.If there was another dealer in the area who sold the Tahoe brand, I would suggest going there instead of this place.Oh, and I still don't have my registration for the boat or the trailer. But then again, it doesn't, matter to them.Update:After seeing this review, I was contacted by the dealer, who called me on a weekend, and left a message for me - at my office phone. So I didn't get the message until Monday morning.I didn't bother to return the call...However, now 2 more weeks have elapsed, so I text Cody, the sales guy. I guess he's not happy with my review because after asking about my registration I get a very formal reply indicating that he'll get back to me on Monday.We'll see how that pans out.I regret giving this place my sale.

Waylen Bay Marine, and in particular Paul our salesman, could not have been nicer to deal with nor more efficient. Paul was informative and fun to talk to. His help post sale was very helpful and his delivery of our boat was on time and the orientation we were given was thorough and assured our safety. A pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Waylen Bay to any friend.

Service and support after the sale is terrible.Bought a new Carolina Skiff 19LS in April. Had issues the electronics box leaking and the gel coat peeling off with in the first week of owning the boat. Took the boat in for its first service in May and showed their Service Manger Brent Davis the issue, he told me he would contact Carolina Skiff and get back to me. I never head back. Over the next four months I called him every week and left voice mails but never heard back. I also sent him emails as well. After four months I called my salesman and left him a voice mail, the next day Brent finally return my call. When ask him about the e-box he told me he had to call Carolina Skiff. the same thing he told me four months earlier. Another few weeks went by and he called and said he had a new e-box for my boat. I schedule to take it in on 9/23/23 and pick it up a week later on 9/30/23. When I arrived to pick it up Brent told me it was complete and I just needed to sign a few papers and they would bring it out. When they brought the boat out the e-box had not been replace, there was dirt, leaves and ants all over the boat. When I told Brent that the e-box hadn't been replaced he tried telling me that was the new box on the boat. After showing him all the issues with it he admitted that they had not replace it but had the new box setting in the shop. I ended up taking the new e-box with me. I guest I will have to pay out of pocket and have someone install the new box. This whole process took 5 months and they didn't do anything but waste my time. Their service and support after the sale is terrible, once you buy the boat you are on your own. I would not recommend purchasing a boat from Waylon Bay Marine.

I recently purchased a used Key West 1720. Upon my arrival to the dealership, I was greeted by Paul who willingly went out in the rain to show the boat. The whole buying process was very simple and straightforward. Paul was very thorough and helpful and wanted to make sure that we had a positive experience both during and after the sale. Thank you to Paul and the entire Waylen Bay team!

We had a very pleasant shopping experience. Paul was great. He explained the differences between a few hull designs and the 17 mako pro skiff we bought rides and fish well. The guys at Waylen bay st. Augustine were great to work with also as we had a bimini top installed there.

My wife and I had a great experience. Brian and Zach were both very helpful. They were always willing to answer our questions and continuously followed up with us throughout the process. They ensured out needs were met and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend!

Boat was exactly as described in Waylen internet site. Sylvan pontoon is used but looks new, Paul explained all details about boat and Provided excellent customer service. Very satisfied with purchase.

Purchased our new boat sea pro 248, Zach Middle was our sales person who showed us a lot of boats with all my questions was very knowledgeable of all of them. When I actually said what I wanted he took us right to the boat we bought great choice been fishing almost every day. Went over the boat with me when I picked it up and made sure I was ok on all items. Would recommend them for your next boat.

I was a first time boat buyer and from the start Zach was extremely helpful. We talked back and forth for about a month while I was shopping around. I never got the impression from Zach that I was wasting his time. When I was ready to buy, I went to a different marina first, closer to where I live, they didn't even want to show me the boat. I had to find it myself. I left the dealer and called Waylen Bay immediately. Needless to say I bought the Ranger RB190 the next day. My experience with Waylen Bay and Zach was incredible, I highly recommend to anyone buying to go see him

I was the easiest buy on the planet! I bought my boat online with no hassle, I made it real easy for the salesman Paul to make money off me... However, my boat has had some issues and I've emailed my salesman with all the issues and pictures he tells me Someone will get back to me.... No one ever did!! Then I email Paul again and he tells me just to call this person myself... The sells to service with this place sucks and I know it's because I bought my bought from another state...I would never recommend buying anything online from a company like this and damn sure would never recommend any of my friends to spend a bunch of money with a company who's only goal is money and not the satisfaction of its customers... 1 star all day!

Paul Drummond was fantastic to work with. Kind, professional, quick action and response time. Clear communication and no "fishy" business. Made the entire purchase from start to delivery a comfortable breeze! Cannot say enough good things about Paul and Waylen Bay.
