Pharmacy was terrible experience. If you have a prescription for a controlled medication, I'd advise you to go to one of the US-1 locations. Unless you want to be treated like a criminal by their pharmacist when the tech accidentally deletes your prescription, or if your insurance doesn't cover brand-name. They don't do "customer service".

Pharmacy should just be shut down!!!!Called was on hold for 30 min just to be disconnected when someone finally picked up. Called back cause I got the time to be annoying for someone who doesn’t want to do the job they applied for(another 30min) -_- I have bronchitis so I was given codeine cause my cough is none stop 24/7! Not only did I feel like I was talked down to after finally getting them to answering and explaining what I needed. The girl who answered said her store was out. Okay, understand meds are hard to get in after 2020 I’ll try another Walgreens. so called another one just to be put on hold for another 30 min to be talked down to yet again and told the company stopped selling any codeine as a store policy!!!They don’t even know what they can and can not sell complete waste of time. You should save your time go to Publix pharmacy where it’s a pleasure to shop took me 4min to get an answer, a fill AND WAY CHEAPER !!

Pharmacist doesn’t want to be there … he couldn’t be bothered to answer a question ( about my small child possible issue with an otc med) ask a pediatrician ?? Yeah I would if one were standing g in front of me ??? I wouldn’t waste my time asking you if I had one to ask at that moment … dont bother helping people ?? What the hell are you here for ???
noticed he was treating the older unkindly … glad I’m just visiting I’d never go here … and there seems to be only two in the area so one has no choice ( just a total jerk) ????

I pretty much know where everything is, but I can get help quickly if needed. I loved that a Walgreens opened close to me a number of years ago and I have been a loyal customer since. I can get what I want at a reasonable price, there are good discounts/ BOGOs, and I rack up the points that translate into money off the total bill at check out. The pharmacists are also excellent! I love being able to call some of the associates by name and knowing they truly care about their customers.

I was double charged for three prescriptions at Anastasia Walgreens. Even though the pharmacist understood I was double charged he did nothing but tell me to call my bank. Not too busy to double take my money but too busy to do the right thing for a patient.

One advantage of Walgreens (and probably CVS as well) is they're nationwide). That makes it easier to get refills on meds (providing that you have the refills) pretty much anywhere in the US. We've had decent service from them in the past. However, in St. Augustine, FL, during a recent semi-urgent situation and we were unable to find a 24 hour Walgreens. We have since found one. We've heard that during the pandemic, the pharmacies got the brunt of it. Of course the first line doctors and nurses were extremely stressed. Fortunately, they were able to rise to the challenge. On the Covid vaccine: We've both had the original vaccine plus 3 boosters. One of us had no problems with the vaccine, but the other (after the first injection) did have a moderate case of Covid. He ended up receiving a second line treatment which was effective. We've known at least two people who both got serious cases of Covid. They ended up in an intensive care unit where one of them died and the other was expected to, but she survived. Get your vaccines! If you tend to be in the "anti vax" group, know that the vaccines are the first line of defense against the virus. It's not perfect, but we learned that all vaccines are not a complete defense against the disease but that they are pretty good coverage. Can you imagine what it would be like w/o the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) and the polio and smallpox vaccines? People have forgotten about the "dread diseases" of polio, measles, mumps, rubella and smallpox. It was due to the luxury of being protected by those vaccines. The smallpox rate reached about 90% of the population in Europe prior to the smallpox vaccine, and millions of people died. That an extra (?) one million died during Covid, we blame on the Trump administration due to their bungling of the vaccine.

tried to drop off 10 pound package 3 1/2 feet tall at fedX at the Walgreens on A1A Anastasia Island at 9:00 am on Oct 22nd. the cashier at fedx decided she wasn't going to take it and said over 3 feet is not allowed. I told her she was mistaken. She chose not to accept it and we called fed X and verified that they do take it. we had to go to another Walgreens with the same set up just a different cashier who took it no problem. the cashier at the Walgreens on Anastasia island should be fired!!!! she was rude to everyone standing in line as well!

Absolutely the worse experience in pharmacy service you could ever imagine. After 10 years getting the same prescription every month they give me the wrong thing and take my 226 dollars . No refunds no apologies nothing from the store manager or the pharmacy manager. They both agreed they know everything lol

The cashier this morning was a Moran...he mumbled and looked down when he spoke, so it was impossible to hear what he was saying. I do have hearing issues but if someone is talking to me and they're looking at me I'm ok.He acted like he didn't even want to be there actually.I guess it's hard to find good help these days.

The people in the Pharmacy are the rudest people I’ve ever ran into! No compassion, not friendly at all! I needed to use them for my script cause I was leaving on a Sunday to fly to Mi for my granddaughters graduation & my regular pharmacy is closed on Sunday & need it before I left! I explained this to girl & she goes you can’t shop around for pharmacies! #1 the only person I owed an explanation to was my Dr & they were ok with it! #2 I can shop around for best price if I want (which I wasn’t)! In the end had to wait til Monday & my cousin bring them with her later in the week! Won’t go back there ever again! Everyone else in store were super nice!

Loved this walgreen. I worked at walgreens in texas for 3 years and they were perfectly faced and clean. A manager ( dark haired woman) there helped us find a cheap aloe lotion and was very friendly. Loved this location.

Fedex location is subpar, sent a package here for hold for pick up they said they would hold it for 5 days. Spoke with "Stacy" on the phone to let her know we would be picking it up on the third day of them holding it, and she told me she would be putting a note on our package stating so.They sent it back after 2 days, which they're supposed to hold it for 5.Now Im spending 8 hours on the phone with fedex trying to track it. Fedex specifically stated Walgreens management sent the package back.Managers here have no empathy or respect for other peoples belongings. Thanks alot Stacy!
