Honestly this review is a PSA. This shop is no longer there and hasn't been for quite some time. We made a trip specifically to visit this shop and on Google it still shows up. Not only that but the sign is still up over the door but is actually another shop altogether which was really frustrating. The sign should be taken down and the shop should report to Google that it is closed. You could see on peoples faces that they were disappointed as they entered because they expected something different.

Hours here are a bit flexible, but if you catch the shop up, definitely come in. Totally worth it.

Dude was super cool, very professional and really willing to help. Definitely will return for good finds on vintage menswear.

I stopped in here during my visit to St Augustine in November. I passed this little shop on the Red Train tour and made sure to go back later. It is the best vintage store I’ve ever been in. They have the cleanest and nicest pieces I’ve ever seen, along with some newer “knock-off” pieces. They have everything from shoes to hats and everything in-between. I spoke with the owners son who helps to run the store and could have spent another couple of hours in their talking and browsing, if I’d had the time. I’d wager you could find anything you were looking for here and if it wasn’t in store, they have a warehouse filled with other items. Whether you are looking for something special or just want to browse some history, make time for a visit!!

I had the most amazing evening at The Way We Were Vintage! The owner, Kim, held a private Covid-friendly shopping and dress up session just for me! I had so much fun trying on different vintage outfits, taking photos, and just talking to her! She knows how to create and pair any outfit to suit your preferences and styles! I called ahead and she brought in a few extra pieces for me to try (the shop only holds about 1/4 of her total stock, so make sure to call ahead to schedule an appointment!) Visiting The Way We Were Vintage is definitely a must do when looking for things to do in St. Augustine!

My daughter and I went into the shop today to look for a cocktail dress. Kim was wonderful! She spent time with us, and gave us the most incredible customer service! Their selection they have in the store, in addition to what they can show us by appointment is amazing! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Hands down my favorite vintage boutique in St. Augustine. The owner is an absolute gem and incredibly knowledgeable. The clothes are beautiful and I can't wait for my next trip down from Jacksonville to visit!
