Dr. Ashley Siders is a remarkable person . She went above and beyond with her care for our little holland lops rabbit . Not only was she incredibly informative, but she was also very soft and loving toward our bunny . Our 5 your old even commented on how wonderful her and the vet technician were with our bunny and how she kissed him on his head and spoke softly as she put it . We love our little furry family member and felt complete trust with this wonderful group of people . The waiting room was also very clean ! Thank you for being so awesome !

Had a lab appointment for our 5 year old Golden. He is definitely a nervous one who wants me with him while at the vet. This is well established in his chart profile since his first visit at 8 months old as an out of state rescue. We have be utilizing this practice since 2009 and have definitely dealt with more and more challenges in understanding his needs while there for appointments over the years. Mainly due to a frequent turn over of staff and vets. Today was over the top though. A vet technician came to take him back for labs. I explained to her the protocol but was waved off as she tried to coax him to the back. I told him to go with her and stated that if there were any problems with him to stop and get me. Several minutes later she came to get me with a mussel in her hand stating they couldn’t get it on him. I quickly told her you can’t put one on him, that’s why you come get me! When I entered the exam room he was on the floor shaking and panting lying in his own urine while a second technician began telling me they can’t get a mussel on him. I was so shocked at what they had done to him, all I could say is that’s why his chart specifically states I stay with him and hold him during visits. I tried to explain that when he was initially called back and was ignored. I feel beyond terrible that I wasn’t more insistent that he stays with me, again, when there was preexisting protocol established 5 years ago that was not followed. Obviously this was his, and my, last visit to St. Johns Veterinary Practice!!!

absolutely awful place, the front desk is super sweet but as for the doctors and techs they do not actually care. our cats have been misdiagnosed multiple times with serious issues that are not getting better yet when we bring them back in all the vet can say is “well i didn’t see them last time” and continue to NOT DO ANYTHING. the staff does not follow through with their diagnosis and back it up. all they do is take the easy way and charge you double. absolutely furious with this establishment.

We took our Rabbit to St. Johns for an emergency appointment due to the bun not eating in 12 hours. During the appointment, Dr. Ashley Siders told us the physical exam showed a healthy bunny and they would like to do an x-ray plus blood work to rule out any illnesses. We were told the blood results would be back in two days at most and were sent home with critical care feed. An hour after leaving the vet, our bunny passed. We contacted the vet the next day and were told Dr. Siders would call us back within the hour. A different Dr. called and explained that rabbits who refuse to eat are normally severely ill and there isn't much to do for them. If this is the case, why were we recommended to get an x-ray and blood work done? Why did they put our rabbit under more stress instead of telling is to take her home and make her comfortable? We asked the doctor this and she refused to give us a direct answer. We were then told again that Dr. Siders would call when the blood work came back. Two days later we received an email from Dr. Siders explaining half of the blood work results. Again she stated the rabbit was very sick and there wasn't anything they could have done. We called the vet asking to speak with the Dr. Over the phone but never received a call back. A week later another email comes in with the rest of the blood results which should have taken only two days. All in all the doctors at this clinic are unprofessional, lack empathy, and also lack responsibility. Instead of telling us to cherish the few moments we had left with our rabbit, they charged us $750 for an x-ray, blood work, and critical feed we did not need.

Wonderful experience. Nice people and wonderful Vet. Saw Dr Snider for my Mia's dental work, explained everything and felt my Mia was in good hands. Next month my Chico will be having his teeth done. I'm happy with St. John's Veterinary hospital.

Called yesterday regarding my older dog.who’s been sick. Told them I just moved to St Aug with two older dogs. Need a new vet immediately. I asked if he could be seen and was told they had several open available appointments for the afternoon but, I would need to get them his medical history first.I contacted the former vet the moment I hung up with them and made the request. They sent it straight away.. After an hour of not hearing back from them, I called St John’s Vet to confirm they received the file and to get my pup seen. They said they were,“printing it off now”, and would call me asap to get him seen that afternoon. THEY NEVER CALLED. If this is the first impression, it’s not good. Lack of care, compassion and professionalism. You have lost my business. As a side note, I don’t regularly leave reviews and have only ever written positive ones. This review seemed necessary.

100% recommend. The vets and staff took their time with me as I had oh so many questions. I felt reassured and knew I was leaving my Golden Doodle in qualified and loving hands on the day of his procedure. We have some more hurdles to overcome with my Doodle's health and I am certain he is getting quality care and I have peace of mind. Thank you! Big Shout out to Dr Siders and Sara Grim.

I brought my two dogs in for shots, check ups and an allergy issue. The front staff was super friendly and polite. The vet tech learned all about my dogs, checked their records and let me know what they would be needing. The vet was very informative about the one dogs allergy issues and prescribed a safe medication that so far is working perfectly with no side effects. Definitely is my veterinary clinic going forward.

We had to put our chinchilla to sleep, was a very hard thing to do. We were probably advise on everything that could happen in all directions of care. If we didn’t they were very kind and gentle and we appreciate it that highly recommend them.

New to the area with two dogs. From the front desk to Dr. Brown this was a great experience for me and both dogs. Clearly, truly caring, compassionate people from start to finish. I am very excited and comfortable to have found such phenomenal veterinary care in St Augustine so quickly after my move. My highest recommendation.

I had an excellent Tech, Erika who knew my dog from a previous visit. She notice my pup was having issues coming into the room. With patience and understanding she coaxed all of us to get the necessary exam and test done. She was excellent!

I just moved to town, my 14 year old dog has been having some rotting teeth issues. I called, spoke to the receptionist and she was able to fit me in as a new client that same day. During the exam, the vet techs and the vet Dr. Goin were so sweet and very informative. They answered all of my questions and they were so gentle with her. They told me the issue without beating around the bush and gave me time to think about my next steps. Anything dental work on pets can be VERY expensive anywhere you go. I loved everything about this place. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

I love coming here with my babies(bunnies). They both got neutered here. Staff is always amazing and friendly from the front office to the back. They always answer any questions and always follow up on any visits that I have to make sure they are always doing well. Always recommend coming here. They have room for your pets if they are scared of loud noises, and if you have a little crazy pet, they can handle that too. Just let them know ahead of time.
