The sales woman was gracious and informative but overcharged us 25%. The shop was closed (early) when we went back. When I called I spoke with the owner who totally blew me off stating the computer had the new prices - but the prices were displayed and the items had price stickers on them. Rude doesn't make it right.

Historically accurate and quality made clothing for people to reenact colonial or pirate costumes. Shoes, socks, shirts, dresses, and leather goods. Friendly and knowledgeable staff offering a lot of insight and historical background on the products in the store. Flags and other historical goods are also available.

They said no photos, so no photos. Also, many of the photos that other reviews have shown are not actually of the store, they're of St Augustine in general.

This is a really great store. I got a few pieces for my Renn Faire costume, and the person working was extremely helpful.

Exquisite memorabilia of the pirate world with authentic appearance. There is something here to buy for all ages alike! Owner super friendly, prices very reasonable and worthy place to visit in your bucket list among the other attractions here!

Stumbled upon the store which we hadn’t seen in previous trips to st Augustine. Very interesting even if you’re not a re-enactor. A bit more than just clothing

Whenever I visit St. Augustine, I stop by St. Augustine Textiles. I've found a flint and steel kit and irons for various camp use with them. These folks are the go-to for anything you need if you're looking to do living history. They have clothing, hats, shoes, and all kinds of accouterments needed to look the part or fit into a portrayal of any one of the time periods interpreted in St. Augustine. Reenactors can find items that can be used by them at this unique shop. Their main focus is the Colonial period but you'll also find several items in their inventory can fit into your own portrayal. Check them out when in town at 58 St. George St. (look for their sign) or find them at staugustinetextiles.com

Want to know all about the ins and outs of St. Augustine? Stop in here and get the best juicy scoops, plus a free side of education on just about anything historical. You may not be in the market for re-enactment clothing, but you still don't want to miss this place. It's tucked away and easy to miss, so look for the signage on St. George St. pointing the way. We spent nearly an hour chatting with the staff and other shoppers. Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of our trip. I also walked out with a fabulous oil-cloth cross-body bag that is my new favorite item!

Enchanting shop featuring clothing and accessories from the 18th century. Authentic historical clothing made to order or much to buy on the rack.

This place could be a museum, except that everything's for sale. All the merchandise is high quality and appropriate to a historical era, mostly the 18th century.
