Picked up some Datil Pepper plants to take home. Wishing that I lived closer to such a wonderful wide array of plants, many of which you would never find in a big box store along with the knowledgeable staff to help you with your purchase.

Buyer Beware!
While the staff were friendly and helpful and their selection was impressive, I had a disappointing experience. I purchased two trees for $300 each and six plants for $20 each. I planted everything the same day.
Within a week, the trees began losing leaves, and four of the plants looked wilted. I thought they might be in shock, so I diligently watered them three times a day. By the next week, it was clear that the trees and four of the plants were dead or dying.
When I returned to the store, I was informed that they do not offer any warranty on their plants. If you buy a thousand-dollar tree and it dies a week later, you are out $1,000. I just learned a $600 lesson.
While Home Depot and Lowes may have lower quality plants, at least they provide a warranty. Southern Horticulture should be ashamed of this practice.

Holy moly, this place is amazing! There is so many plants and everything looked happy and healthy. While there I asked a few different questions and everyone I talked to was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The native section is my favorite. I saw several hard to find FL native plants. I will definitely be returning!
