I recently completed training/certification with Sea Hunt Scuba. Steve is an OUTSTANDING instructor, on the first day he evaluated me in the pool and he made adjustments to my gear to make it more streamlined and efficient. He didn't just do the work and turned my gear over to me, he actually took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it and he SHOWED me what he was doing so that in the future I would be able to be self-sufficient and make adjustments to any new gear I may obtain. Steve wouldn't move forward to teaching the next objective until he knew you understood the current objective he was teaching. Steve had determined that I needed additional training and I gladly extended my time training to focus on areas where I was deficient. In the long run his actions will have made me into a better diver.Also, the shop will sell you what you need, they don't try to up sale you. Sea Hunt Scuba has a good family like environment, I highly recommend them to fulfil your scuba needs.

Fantastic experience speaking with Curtis who educated us about snorkel/scuba and spear fishing. If you are new to the sports this is a great place to start!

The people at Sea Hunt Scuba were fantastic! They took the time to explain in depth the masks, fins, and snorkels as well as how to take care of our new gear! Highly recommend going to them for your diving needs! Amazing selection of gear and equipment!

My wife got me a gift certificate for SCUBA diving certification for Christmas at Sea Hunt. Curtis was very helpful with the whole process. I went to Sea Hunt to get geared up and Curtis once again was extremely helpful with the fitting of my mask, boots and fins. Chris was my instructor for the class. He was a great instructor! He was extremely helpful, patient and attentive. The training facilities at the shop are up to date and clean. The springs that we dove were so much fun with an abundance of fish, turtles and maybe, just maybe an alligator. I would highly recommend Sea Hunt Scuba in St Augustine for any of your diving needs.

Curtis and Steve are Awesome! Super helpful from the first phone call to even after my refresher course. Glad to have these guys right down the street from home and will definitely be my first choice for anything scuba.

We just returned home from a spectacular certification experience with Sea Hunt Scuba. From our initial contact with Curtis over the phone as we coordinated the best timing for our little family, to our 4 days together with Steve and Robert, we couldn’t have had a more positive experience. Steve is a natural teacher with a calm but direct style. Equipment, eLearning, 5 Start PADI dive center, spectacular in-person instruction—it was all a class act.We look forward to many further trips with SeaHunt Scuba. Thanks for a great time!

I (along with my 13 yr old daughter Isabella) just completed our Open Water certification with Sea Hunt Scuba last weekend, and could not possibly have had a better experience! Curtis and Steve are as good as they get, as they are both very experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Steve was our instructor and did an absolutely phenomenal job, especially with my daughter. He was very patient and attentive, and I greatly look forward to taking additional certification courses and diving trips with this group!

Steve was an excellent instructor and really made me and the other student feel very comfortable. He appreciated the step-by-step challenge of pool diving then spring diving then (next for me!) ocean diving, and was simultaneously concerned with safety foremost and making sure we learned and dove and completed our training. I am happy now to be a PADI Certified Open Water Diver, and I can't wait to come back to Florida and to enjoy more training.

Just finished our open water certification, and I couldn't be happier with choosing Sea Hunt Scuba. Curtis and Steve are fantastic owners, and Chris was a great instructor. The facilities are great for the pool portion, and I love how Chris chose a more challenging second dive to push us to learn good depth. Scuba diving is an investment in memories that last a lifetime, and this dive shop wants to ensure you stay engaged.

Five Stars for Steve! My family and I recently traveled to FL from Ohio; it was the first ocean dive for our two teenage sons and Steve exceeded all expectations. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and his experience and professionalism were evident from our first conversation with him. We look forward to another dive trip w/ Sea Hunt Scuba!

Had the pleasure of taking our beginner class this past weekend. The class included my wife, son (11 year old), and I. Steve was our instructor for the pool day and the lake dive, with Tommy doing our last dive at Blue Grotto. Curtis was an huge help in getting us geared up for the class, without pushing certain more expensive equipment, he advised to go with the best fitting gear. I would definitely recommend going with this shop! We will be going again soon

Sea Hunt Scuba is one of the best dive shops in town.All of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and courteous.Steve went out of his way to help me with gear and was very courteous.Curtis is always helpful and is incredibly knowledgeable, he has more knowledge and dives under his belt than anyone I have ever met.I just finished my open water certification with Chris and he is a great instructor. He made sure everyone in the class was being safe and having a good time. He was very attentive to his students and made sure they had everything they needed to be comfortable and ready to dive open water.I love how this shop makes you feel like family and not just a customer.I will be spending alot more money and time at this shop in the future!

Absolutely the most amazing thing I’ve ever done! Steve Bohanan was my instructor and I couldn’t have been more pleased with his patience and professionalism. awhile ago me and my sons decided we wanted to get our ow certifications and scuba Steve and Curtis were so helpful and just nice people would highly recommend this store for any beginner or experienced divers.
