Early morning visit while on vacation to get a rash guard and a beach umbrella. I walked out with a super-cool beach umbrella that blows in the wind and while everyone was trying to hold their anchored beach shelters down later that day ours was simply blowing in the wind just like it should. Appreciate the help Brian. A1 service at this store, sales person was not pushy and the merchandise is high quality brands.

Sunglasses (50 Dollars) lost the Protection Foil of the glasses after one single day of use. The retailer is not paying any money back and just hang up the phone. No chance to contact anyone in chance of complaint.

This is a great place to get sunglasses and beach gear. A wonderful store to have in the lovely beach town of villano beach. Every beach town needs a little sunglasses shop with beach gear. The prices are reasonable as well! They have a great sunscreen selection sunBum is the best.

I bought a pair of sunglasses and realized the next day they did not fit my face as well as I had thought. I went in and asked to exchange and they recommended a pair of raybans that would fit my face better, but they had to transfer from another store during the Hurricane so it would take some time. I got it only a few days later and they look so good! The customer service there is 5 stars. Thank you guys!

Trying to support Vilano Beach local business Rainbow Shades ends up in nothing but a disappointment-- had original receipt for Flomotion Gator Hybrids purchased for my son at Christmas--which states 90 day exchange with original receipt--no refunds; was asking to exchange the same item for a different size--first I was told all sales are final on swimwear-um these aren't swimwear they have belt loops, they're a hybrid as stated on the original receipt; then I was told by the shop owner that he hates being bullied by the "Locals". That's when I let him know he was being an "**** as I only told him that to advise that I'm a repeat shopper; next a wrong tag mistakenly put back on the item raises all these "red flags" to the shop owner and absolutely no exchange will be granted, parting shot from the shop owner to me--I've owned this shop for 5 years and never seen you in here-my response I've been in this store multiple times and never seen you shop owner. All I wanted was to exchange an item that I purchased to support local business, not to be called a "bully" and a "liar" in the course of a two minute conversation. If you don't like the "locals" why do you own a store in a neighborhood? If you're so afraid of being ripped off by a simple clothing exchange you should find something else to do. Never again very unfortunate!

Avoid this place… Unknowledgeable extremely over priced, frequent and arbitrary changes store rerun policies. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Per request I will share my experience with trying to return flip flops that the sole was falling off after 2 weeks and another that would’ve caused my wife to have blisters if she wore it over an hour..The entire “service” that was displayed to ne on 3 different occasions is not just a complete 180 of the service you would normally receive at an overpriced retail store it was down right shameful. So I will just leave it at that for now. And recommend NOT TO SHOP HERE until the entire staff incline management and/or owner is replaced with more polite friendly and helpful employees manager or owner.

Loved this store location- They offered not only sunglasses but many other great products! Brian was great with guiding me in the right direction, plus it's right next to the beach which was perfect for some eye protection last minute.

Beach Day. Taking a day with the kids to the beach. When we arrived we found we had nothing for the beach. Thank you, Rainbow Shades & Brian for being on Vilano Beach. Also, understanding and patience with my crazy kids running all over your store and making a complete mess. While taking care of us, he was also juggling other customers and what looked like a garment dealer. Job well done. Apparently, love his job.
