Booked our pod months before the move. Upon calling to confirm delivery in two weeks, we learned they misrepresented the quote and tacked on an additional $1500 and fees. Thankfully we called before our cancel date when the card would be charged, but now we’re scrambling to find a comparable service. Underhanded tactics—do not use.

I had a terrible experience the second time I used PODS.The first time was great. They dropped off on time and picked up no issues. we had pavers. there was no in person requirement. That is why we chose PODS. both my husband and I work full time jobs.This most recent time, we had scheduled months in advance and planned our movers/ work schedules around it. we were not told that we had to be in person to sign an "in person waiver" to make sure the pavers were not damaged. instead, we were contacted by the driver, refusing to drop off the pods because we were not home. we discussed with the driver and the PODS operator that we were not told to be home in person for the delivery. we were not given an electronic waiver option. also we were not given a return trip. instead they put us on the "waitlist" for the next day which did not come. The next two days we were given minimal communication about possible drop off, and then we rescheduled for that Saturday since that is the next day we would have someone in person at home. The operator was not very educated and kept telling me there is not a number I could reach the local distributor at, and that they had been sued recently which is why this waiver form was a new requirement. She did not acknowledge that the company had not told us to be there in person. she also would not guarantee a 3 hr time window for anything to be dropped off upon rescheduling.Upon the Saturday drop off, the driver was a different driver. He didn't know we had pavers (the reason why we were rescheduled 6 days afterwards) and did not knock on the door or ask for a signature at all. This inconsistency in requirements, delay in drop off, and lack of professional customer service has disappointed us. We will not be using PODs again.

Our congregation coordinated a major remodeling project so we used Pods to remove and store a full container of personal property. Unexpectedly, storage was needed for more than two years. All went well with the initial delivery and pickup two years ago and access to the storage site was very easy. We did, however, experience some scheduling issues with the recent return of the full pod. Communication was not always timely and was sometimes unclear. Long waiting times were involved. Some Pods agents were more skilled than others. Some emails stating delivery window times were blank. In the end, however, Pods came through for us as our required delivery time was limited, and we needed to coordinate volunteers to empty the full pod. We would recommend Pods again as they were able to deliver and pick up the returned pod in the time required. Thank you, Pods!

The company is supposed to allow you to pick your time, but it has to be within their time. They can always change the delivery and pick up time after you have scheduled it, and you have no saying. They do not stick to their words.I had a few hiccups during my move and the last thing was that they couldn't delivery my last container until 12 days after my delivery day. My most important things are in that container and I don't know if I would get it.After paying almost $9500 dollars, I think it is a disgrace what I had to endure during my move with PODS.

I have full documentation of the phone calls of the sales representatives lying to me about the delivery dates. It took over two weeks to get my POD. Then they delivered the wrong POD. This company has really failed in the recent years. Everything goes to a call center and they are not responsive by any means. Any of my Veterans or Active Military DO NOT USE. I am going to POST this review on every social media platform and search engine I can possible and make updates as this horrible experience is still going ON! By the way I have used them in the past with no problems. I gather MANGEMENT HAS NO CONCERNS, IDEAS OR JUST DOES NOT CARE.

I wouldn't use them unless you've got money you just don't want they charge you 4 times for their so called "Services"! If I were you I'd just rent a U-Haul truck and be done with it.

I had a poor experience with this PODS location. Booked 5 months in advance, PODS driver no-shows on my container drop-off date. That evening, I got a phone call from PODS with no explanation of what happened. They gave me an offer to rebook my POD drop-off for 3 weeks later and $500 extra cost. I originally chose PODS due to a stronger reputation for reliability, but my experience was anything but reliable. I ended up having to rebook with a competitor to make my move happen on time.

I had high expectations that PODS would provide a high-quality container at a reasonable price. Those expectations were met. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of customer service from everyone with PODS with whom I interacted - especially the driver-operators. I cannot be more pleased with my choice of PODS to move my household goods.

Horrible company, I lost a lot of money because of them , they just canceled my order after they already charged me, never show up, complete lie, customer service, either have no idea, or just give you a lie or sometimes just abruptly end the call

Do not use PODS. This company does not train its associates and they have no idea what they are doing. It seems cheap and a good idea to move between residences, but you'll pay in the long run.The PODS associate told me they would put my POD on the street of my new home. After packing and loading all my belongings, I was told the day of its arrival they weren't permitted to deliver on my street and I would have to pick up my things at their warehouse 20 minutes away. Basically removing all over again.When I called to customer service to complain, the associate told me to book movers and that PODS would pay me back for the cost. Well, I'm sure you can see where that went.After paying for movers PODS refused to pay for the movers, instead only repaying for the service. The associates consistently promise one thing and once you get another, they don't follow through. I feel conned by this business. Save yourself the headache and just hire movers from the get-go.

Absolutely worth every penny.I am elderly, hired Pods, they were professional, there website full of tips on how to pack.When My Pod arrived, not a item broken or box smashed.They allow plenty of time to pack, keep u updated when they will arrive n pick up.I had many choices of companies to use, did my research n chose Pods.So happy I did. Thank you to the professional team of delivery great costumer service.

They don't care about their customers. I had arranged a pick up so both PODS could be delivered to me on the same day. I called to check and it wasn't even on the books. Then they failed to pick up the second pod and it's out there annoying the neighbors and unattended for three days. I had to call again to arrange a pick up am I a babysitter? So, one pod was delivered a week later and I had to hire movers two times. That costs extra money as they charge for travel time each visit. I had to constantly check with customer service. They acted all concerned and then shut me down flat. I am out hundreds of dollars having to hire the movers twice because of their any efficient handling of scheduling. The only plus is the drivers are nice. They reach out and act all concerned, but then they don't care enough to take care of you. Be careful.The comment that they posted that they are looking into it IS NOT true. It's to make the consumer falsely believe that they really care. They responded to me via email and shut me down immediately.

The drivers are very nice but the staff and communication are extremely inefficient. I called to schedule a drop off date and it didn't get in the books therefore my stuff was dropped off a week apart. Thank goodness I called because it wasn't even scheduled.They didn't pick up one of the containers and it sat there for three days while I have left town and people were moving into my house. They said they would refund me $169 for the drop fee and did not. I filed a claim and was given no compensation. I had to hire movers two times because of their incompetence. Never use again. BIG thumbs down. awful.
