I brought my dog here for the first time and likely will not do so again. While the staff were all pleasant and friendly, there seemed to be some staffing and communication issues. We were there for an annual check-up and briefly met with Dr. Jay to discuss any issues/concerns. The tech then came in to go over the treatment plan and cost but then reported they had an emergency and I could either leave my dog and pick up later or come back at another time. I opted to leave her and pick up after work thinking they could at least work on the nail trim and ear cytology that was needed. When I returned, I was taken to a room, told everything was done and asked if I needed to see the doctor. I am not sure if this is standard practice, but I was surprised that everything was done behind the scenes and nothing in front of me as had been done with prior vets (she was needing several shots and treatment for an ear infection). Even the initial physical exam with Dr. Jay was very brief so I am hoping that more was done behind the scenes, including checking her hips and such. I just feel that in today's day and age, and given the price tag involved in a typical vet visit, this should be done with the owner so there is no question that everything was done as expected. Or you would think the vet would at least come in and go over everything to reinforce what was done. I asked about this medicated shampoo they were going to give me information on for a skin issue she was having. The tech went to go check and came back with a bottle that had a prescription label printed already with my dog's name on it. I asked how much it was, was told $24 and she pointed to an item on the invoice (using her tablet). I get to check out and am told the visit is roughly $200 more than I was told it would be. I tell her this, she leaves to go to the back for a bit, comes back and says they got it figured out and it was closer to the amount I thought it should be. Again, this is concerning because they would have easily taken the higher payment, no question. After everything is said and done, she prints the receipt and I see the shampoo is actually $41. Looking online, I can get the same one for a third of the price. Had I known the correct price to begin with, I would not have purchased it from them. By that time, she is too busy answering numerous phone calls to discuss further. I will say, they sent a link with her lab results which was convenient, do support the owner's decision to order from Chewy to save some money (such as for heartworm), and called the next day to ask about how my dog was doing. But given everything else, we will likely not return.

I am so excited to have found a vet that listens that doesn’t judge and cares about their patience. I have cavalier, King Charles spaniels and have came in for many different reasons no matter what the reasons they’ve always created me with a happy face explain things thoroughly a few times there have been emergencies as one of my dogs, deciding to try to jump a fence and tore his paw pad and on a busy day, they took me anyway as an emergency. The doctor called the next day to see how he was doing. He tore his bandage off and they asked me to come back and redid it at no charge. I can call and ask questions and the doctor will call me back that day with having four dogs gets busy for me different needs and sometimes just to check up I would refer anybody here. I’m excited and happy to have found a place that listens and takes their time with me.

I will start with the staff being very nice. This is the 2nd visit to murabella animal hospital in about 6 weeks. I recently moved back to the area so I thought taking our dog back to a vet that took care of her for the first 3 years of her life. They were amazing back then. I took her in for a exam so we can get established with the vet again. We were put into the exam room quickly then you wait. After waiting and the musical staff starts, you tell the first staff why your there, then the doctor comes in explains some things . Now the staff comes back in with a treatment plan. We say ok and I asked for them to do the exam in the back not around me. She is very nervous at the vet. Next thing I know no blood work was done or exam. The dog was too upset. They gave me a prescription for anxiety. She never had an issue with her previous vet in Naples. We left and I made another appointment to get her blood work done. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment, we're checked in and put in an exam room. The attendant came in We discussed what was going to happen as well as get her ear infection addressed. We waited almost an hour for the vet got to us( they had multiple emergencies that day) I can understand that. The doctor comes in We talk a minute and then I put the dog on the exam table. The doctor listens to her heart on her left side( she moved the stethoscope to 3 different locations) . She spent less than 5 minutes with us. They leave the room. And the attendant comes back in the room with the treatment plan. The plan cost was outrageous. I said just treat her ear infection they said they couldn't treat her ear without another test that would have to be sent out. They expected me to wait longer to get her treatment. I decided to leave and find a new vet. The had the nerve to call me and said I owe them 59 dollars for the less than 5 minutes I saw the doctor. I am not paying it because my time is just as valuable and the amount of time I waited on both visits I say we are even. They use to be great not anymore, there are many other vets in the area that has better control

This is not our vet, but after our call on Saturday I think it will be. I cut my dogs nail too short and couldn’t stop the bleeding, I was freaking out trying to find a vet open on a Saturday right at noon, of course. Murabella answered my call and helped talk me down and through how to help my girl. The receptionist on the phone was so sweet and caring, I really appreciate you guys taking my call and helping us out. They even called to follow up, and we weren’t even a patient of theirs! Needless to say, I can tell they care and that’s huge when it comes to our babies. Thank you so much!!

I was refused a single dose of my geriatric dog’s maintenance medication that was previously prescribed by this office after offering to bring him in on the following business day for an exam. I think it was cruel to refuse a single pill of medication for dementia related anxiety simply because I needed to delay his exam for 1 day. I had to miss my son’s football game for a 5 second exam to prevent my dog’s needless suffering when I was more than willing to bring him in for an exam on the next day the office was open. I will not be returning and will seek a compassionate office instead.

We had what we thought was an emergency with our dog vomiting blood, and of course it was late in the day. They told me to come right over and they took care of my girl. We have been using MuraBella for 5 years now and feel confident they will do the best for my furry family.
