In the two years I have been going to Mayo I have yet to meet the doctor I am assigned to. Every appointment is with a physician’s assistant. Very pushy regarding expensive procedures that are not needed like an ultrasound of sinuses for allergies.

Incredible care especially Dr Stafford in GI surgery!! This is all so professional and through it’s exactly the way hospitals should be . Exceptional people at every turn . 5 stars is not enough.

I was very surprised to see some of these reviews. I have been going to Mayo for eight years, I've yet to have a bad experience. My regular Doctor is Elizabeth Raushenberger, but I've seen others when she wasn't available. My doctors were all caring and thorough. I've never felt rushed out the door, and I love the online portal that I can go back to and remember procedures, dates, etc. I am very happy with my experiences here.

This facility is constantly overcharging me for services like wellness, which they label under a different category to get more money from my own pocket vs. insurance pay. They also lost my blood samples (?!!) that I had to redo... Anyone heard something like that even in 3-RD world counties? I had to reschedule my annual wellness exam 3 times and it was billed as regular visit at about $600 invoice. Your call if you want to use this office or not :-(

As a Patient since Feb 2020 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, I have received nothing but excellent care as a Stage 4 cancer patient. The doctors and APRN's I see have been exemplary. I was attempting to move my primary care doctor from Advent Health and I felt the Mayo Primary Care group in St Augustine appeared to be a perfect fit. Upon calling, I was told even as a active patient of Mayo , this Primary Care group is not taking NEW customers. I find that very interesting and odd as I'm already in their system, Mayo accepts my insurance etc..

I have never written a review on a Doctor but felt this was important. I have been seeing Dr. Rauschenberger for a little over 10 years. I am one of those people who will do anything to avoid taking mediations. She has been beyond supportive. She listens to me and respects my choices while making suggestions and recommendations that will align with my choices. She takes time with you to talk over things. I do not feel like a number being pushed through. And I can honestly say I have never been happier with my doctor.

I rarely write online reviews, but I thought this facility deserves it. First of all, I’d like to say that my experiences with the doctors at this facility have been excellent. They have done their best to help me even when I had difficult problems or symptoms that were hard to explain and understand. My issue is solely with the nurses and staff. I have had numerous administrative issues, from charges being billed incorrectly, to getting charged for items that I have been promised my insurance would pay for, to prescriptions being sent to the wrong pharmacy. In addition, the nurses can be downright rude when you talk to them on the phone. I am required by my insurance to use an online pharmacy, and when they can’t reach my doctor’s office they tell me. Sometimes this information is out of date, but I end up having to call anyway and prescriptions get sent. Today I had the worst experience so far. The nurse basically said she didn’t believe me when I told her what my pharmacy told me. That really isn’t her place and I thought it was very unprofessional. In addition, she refused to refill a simple prescription that I had been seen for less than a year ago, rather than go ahead and refill it and then set up appointments as needed in the future. I thought this was also very unprofessional. That is why I am leaving this review, and I hope it helps others make a decision. You can’t go wrong with the doctors at Mayo clinic, but watch out for the nurses and administrators.

Had lab work done here for my ongoing health care at the main Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Very convenient location on US 1. Staff was fast, friendly, and professional. A very pleasant experience.

Stay away. Incompetent staff. They scheduled me for a procedure on a date that was not available. My wife and I both took off a day from work. Then they called the day before and said they made a "mistake" and cancelled it. Seems professional on the outside, but uncoordinated mess wants you are in.

Mayo clinic has fine doctors who unquestionably are able to provide top notch care............. once you muddle through their beauracracy. They have new appointment and billing systems that are a nightmare so much so that after 2 years we are finding other medical care options in the area. For one procedure early last fall, was overbilled over $2,000. Took innumerable calls and emails, most ignored, before it was resolved. After complaining to BBB they agreed to see me...... I had to "make an appointment" to travel up to their billing office, 40 miles away to get it fixed. Need to see a doc? Good luck. Their appointment system is archaic. Beauracracy has taken over the Mayo; you'll be better served elsewhere.

Hi I have been going to the st augustine Mayo Clinic and the Jacksonville mayo four over 8 years now and have been very pleased. Dr Elizabeth Burns and others at the clinic are very good. She also is very good at knowing which dr's at the Jacksonville mayo are the best to work with.
