Best place ever... I have an guard dog and they do amazing job with her. They make her comfortable and then take there time. Please go check them out and get your pet the best care. Jyla is one of the best kennel assistant and the front office very friendly and efficient. Thank you

Marchelle is amazing! My cat, Tom, chose violence today at his check up appointment and she handled him like a true boss (holding him with the bite/scratch proof gloves while also holding a half eaten churu as she tries to make friends with my upset feline). I hope she goes far because she is a stellar employee!

I can't say enough good things about this vet. They are always busy but do their best to help in a timely manner. I've been using them for years (even before the amazing remodle). Back when I established care, i only had one cat. She needs her teeth cleaned often and they have amazing prices. Over the years I've found a couple other cats. One I found on a satuday morning on my way to work. He was just over a pound and in bad shape. I didn't know where else to go so I showed up there sobbing, thinking he had been hit by a car. Jeanie took him from me and showed me to a room even though they were swamped. Long story short they warned me of the worst and told me it looked like heat stroke or he got into poison from his breathing pattern, but told me they would make him comfortable and do the best they could at the cheapest price. 24 hours later he looked like an entirely different kitten. The whole bill for IV fluids and treatment was less than 100 dollars. I gladly paid it and took the kitten home thinking I would rehome it (wrong of course). He's now a thriving 11 pound cat. When my husband and I got married he also switched his dogs (a basset hound and a pit mix) to them and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The basset gets chronic ear, paw, and skin nfections. They don't make us come in each time and will refill his special antibiotics they had made up for him from cultures they took after so many rounds of different antibiotics didn't work.
Then a couple months back my friend had an adult at (she found in her mother's care who was in a hoarding situation) who had fleas. They sent us in meds to kill the fleas and set us up with a next day appt to see the cat. We updated her vaccines and made sure the fleas were gone. We have since rehomed that cat.
These people do so much and give the best quality of care. If anyone complains about the wait times- they shouldn't. These people are dealing with emergencies (like mine that day) while trying to still see regular patients. One day you might find yourself needing to rush your pet in and skip the line. I have since moved 30 minutes from this vet and have one 2 minutes up the road from me...yet I still choose to travel here. I do miss Dr Inman and he has a specially place in my heart since he saved my cat that day, but I've never had a negative experience with any other doctor there.
I can't recommend them highly enough.

Peta gave my buddy scabies. We live on a sailboat and this was our port of call after Norfolk. They got the groot in the next day! They gave use a private room kept him close and made sure we had the problem fixed before he sailed for the Bahamas.
On our return after 6 months they had his heart worm and anxiety meds filled.
We got into rough weather and he no longer likes heavy weather sailing.

In 3 years this is the only vet we have seen twice!

Nice vet. Nice offices. The parking lot is tiny for full-size trucks/vans like F350 and Sprinter 170... I park next door at barbq place. Perfect size for small and compact cars. Services are on the high end of average pricing but the people are really nice.

They used to be the best when Dr. Inman was there, they can’t keep a doctor. They never inform us of changes in providers. The staff is all lovely but the waits, the care itself, it’s not the same anymore.

I have been bringing my dogs here for years and previously brought my cat before he passed. Dr. Nicholas is the vet we mainly see and he is absolutely wonderful. He has my full trust in making health choices for our pets. He explains things thoroughly and scientifically but in a way that is easy to understand. Dr. Nicholas has given us helpful advice on behavior issues, my pets get very excited to see him and he really seems to connect with them (I have never seen animals so excited to be at the vet's office), I never feel like I am being pressured to do unnecessary costly treatments, and he was very compassionate and supportive when our beloved cat had to be put down after a very difficult cancer. Every single person I have interacted with here has been friendly, kind, and competent. The vet techs are amazing, knowledgeable, and clearly adore animals. It is very easy to communicate with the staff to get health records, prescription refills, and schedule appointments. I don't know how I would do it without this excellent team of people.

We were traveling through the area when our dog ate something that caused a blockage. We took him to Mantanzas River Animal Hospital where Dr. Nicholas saw him. After doing X-rays and a sonogram the Dr. showed us not only the blockage, but a very large liver (our dog had Cushing's) where he discovered two tumors, as well as pneumonia caused by vomiting from when our dog was trying to expel the foreign object.Dr. Nicholas was very upfront and factual about our options and when asked, he provided his personal recommendation. He was right but the decision was still very difficult and painful. We never felt rushed and Dr. Nicholas patiently answered our questions even when I feel like I asked the same questions over and over. His staff was equally compassionate and patient. It appears that they do all their testing onsite and are capable of addressing the most complicated illnesses.I feel like we lucked out by finding this wonderful "old school" veterinarian who knows how to think on his feet; he was wise and not greedy. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our emotional needs. Thank you Dr. Nicholas and team for your compassionate treatment.

I don’t have anything good to say about this place. I will say that there are better, more compassionate and ethic vets in town.
